Ya know, I've seen the show and to tell you the truth no one looks any different to me after they do the surgery. They definitely don't look like their favorite celebrity. Come on people. You can't change your bone structure. You will always look like you afterwards. No one can turn you into something you're not. Sure your nose may be smaller and your boobs are bigger, but your face still looks relatively the same. Why try to look like someone else? You were born with this body. Don't try to change it. Thanks everybody! I remember right after I landed the first thing I heard was someone yelled BEEEEEEEEERRRR and everybody clapping for me. It felt so great! I'm so excited! I did my level 6 & 7 jumps today. It was so great! I loved doing flips out of the plane. I had to jump from the Cessna 205 today cuz our Twin Otter had a problem with it. I was not really liking the change in planes, but I dealt with it. I'm sooo happy! And relieved! Now I have to find money to pay for the rest of it! Yayyyy!!!!!! I'm so funny I crack my head open! This weekend I had to repeat level 5 three times and finally past it on the fourth jump. The first time I spun out of control and couldn't stop it. The second time I just keep turning very slowly in circles but couldn't stop myself. The third time I had one leg farther out than the other one and it was making me turn. I couldn't maintain my heading and stop turning. The fourth time I felt myself turning out of the door. I stopped it. Faced my JM. Did a very slow 360 to the left. Somehow stopped it. Then did a very slow 360 to the right. Managed to maintain my heading for the last 3000 feet. My question is Is it common for you to do different exits on the same level? I did a poised exit against the door with my JM holding on to me for the first second. On the third one, I did a no contact exit not against the door. Then the fourth he was holding on to me but I wasn't against the door. No Prop, Up, Down, Arch. Just ready, set, go. Just wondering if that was a common thing or what. 3:6:0 3 really weird landings. None of them stand up of course. On one of them I was way far out and barely made it back to the landing area to make a crosswind landing. Next one I landed in the briar patch. Then on my third one I landed in the gravel parking lot. Yeah thanks Jim for the great radio help. Made AFF 2 and 3 jump Thursday. Got skipped to level 5 and did it Friday. Had to go back and repeat level 5 today and ended up repeating it 2 more times before I finally passed on the the fourth try. Can't wait to do levels 6 and 7 and graduate AFF! I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #102

I had to work until 4 today and I wouldn't be able to get to the dropzone until later and they had a class full of first jump students jumping today, so I wouldn't be able to make any loads. But I do get off at 11 tomorrow and you can bet your ass I'll be jumping! I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #102

Welcome to the forums! I jump at ASC as well and I'm in the middle of doing my IAF right now. I completed the ground school on Sunday and I'm going to be doing IAF level 4 tomorrow. I told my parents before I ever did my first jump. And you know what? My mom was more concerned about the cost of everything. Of course she was worried. What loving mother wouldn't be? But she didn't try to stop me. She always tells me to have fun when I leave to go to the dz. She's just worried that I'll be spending too much money that I really don't have to spend. My dad was a little different though. He told me not to go, but I told him I was going to go anyways. So after my 2nd jump, he's been asking me how my jumps have been going. I'm surprised how well my parents have taken to it. Your dad may not take to it too well. But you just gotta say you're going to do it anyway whether you have his blessing or not. He is just worrying about you cuz he doesn't want you to get hurt. I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #102

Got mine back in February! 1400 dollars baby! Not too bad for a poor college student working at a grocery store. (And no, I do not have children, so no deductions there.) I just started IAF last week and I tell you.... I cannot stop thinking about it. I start talking about it to everybody and I can tell they just want me to shut up, but I keep talking anyway. I find myself going through the dive flow in my head while I'm at work. It's hard for me to concentrate on anything right now. I just want to jump all the time now! I'm so funny I crack my head open! I did my level 2 today. I did everything I was supposed to do. Pulled at the right time. You know all that good stuff. I just need to work on positioning my legs correctly. They were way down. But then again the instructor didn't tell me how to position my legs, so I'll have to work on that on Level 3. Does anybody have problems with their ears popping after you land? I thought I had gotten them to pop, but it still feels like I'm in a tunnel. Is there anything to remedy that? I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #102

I did my tandem today and it was sooo great! It was a sunset load and it was absolutely beautiful! I'll be back on Sunday to do my 2nd level in tandem progression. Woohoo! I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #102
