It's well known the Tollway Authority does a piss poor job of running the roads in the area. The tolls were supposed to be temporary and removed years ago - now they are talking that the tolls will be at 80 cents if you don't have an IPASS in 2005. The IPASS is the best thing to get if you are a Chicagoland resident or need to travel the toll roads on a regular basis. This way if I go thru the tolls and it doesn't register, it won't be my fault since they have $40 sitting on my account, prepaid. Plus the toll will stay at 40 cents for the next five years with an IPASS. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... Ironic maybe? Someone is complaining that traffic is being directed away from ASC??? Don't you just hate it when something like that happens??? In fact, it could effect the entire DZ, staff and those that make a living off of the traffic that should have been pointed to the right DZ. As others have said - knowing how Sangiro works with this website, it was most likely an accident. Ditto. Up until the buggy part ended I kept wondering when the game was really going to start. I liked the pace right at the beginning when you were on the run from the combine, but after a while it wore a bit thin.....esp when after quite a few hours of this there was almost no story advancement. I felt that it didn't do anything to answer any questions from the end of the first one while only adding more questions that needed to be answered by the end of this game (like what Breen was talking about to that creature). The only reason I am not upset with the ending is because I think of it like a movie where the sequel only pushes the story along but leaves the resolution for the next movie. I just wonder if we will need to wait another six years before the next game comes out? The way I figure it, it will take them 6-8 months to port it over to the consoles, take some time getting out some much needed bug fixes (I had two Alyx's following me around in Nova Prospect for a while) before they even start doing any real work on part three. Here is a thought - bring back the AI from the first game. The opposing forces in HL, Blue Shift and Opposing Force was much better than the fodder in this game. It's espically annoying when the troops following you clog up the hallways and get in your way. The best part of the game: The attack on Nova Prospect....the unique approach with the bugbait combined with one of the best level designs I have ever seen with the prison made for a great combination. The part where wave after wave of troops keep coming at you with the sentry guns was the hardest part of the game (even with brining another sentry gun with me from the room Alyx was in). The jump puzzles were a bit annoying after a while, esp when you get the same puzzle in a few variations. The weapon change inside the Citidel was fun! I wish we had that weapon during the entire game. It did make it feel like Gordon was pissed off with how distructive it could be. Can you imagine using that in a multiplayer setting??? Personally, I found all of the FX5000 series of cards to run slow. You would have done better with a 9200 (or above) series ATI, or a 6000 series GeForce. Make sure you download the latest drivers from the Nvidia website - the ones in the box are most likely old and buggy....or return it and get an ATI 9800 instead. Get it via mail order and you can get a better price as well. A friend just called to say he got onto 290 West from Congress Ave. The road sign read "Time to Harlem Ave 82 min" which is no more than a 9 mile drive. I only wonder how bad my drive is going to be. I can get on the Edens to the Kennedy to the Stevenson, or 294 to the Stevenson. Either way I think I am in for a long night of traffic here. My drive is about the same distance on interestates that never see above 20mph during rush hour. Add in the snow that is coming down right now and this is why I am staying late tonight. In what form? Notams are just notices...not necessarily anything that could be...uhhh...simulated. Dave I only have MS Sim 2003 and haven't played with it too much. Isn't this a repost? Every forum that I have ever been on has plenty of redundancy. Usually it is from a new user that hasn't bothered to do a search. With this sport and the amount of questions it brings for new jumpers, you will see a lot of repeat questions and arguments on here...and it was that way on rec.skydiving as well. I've been worried to see the new Punisher movie, esp after this disaster: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098141/. I'm just happy that comic book movies have gotten better. From what I heard from non-comic book fans that saw both movies, they enjoyed Hellboy but hated the new Punisher movie. I'll have to re-watch HellBoy to see if I overlooked holes in the story line because of my love for the comic book. Like X-Men, there were some changes to the story, but it stayed true to the book. This is what cracks me up - people are worried that homosexuals are going to destroy marriage and kids. If you think about it, the traditional setup is failing already - 51% divorce rate and a slew of really fucked up kids all across this country. I agree with you Jimmy - as long as their is love, the kids will do fine. They may even be more well adjusted than the average kid simply because they will have grown up in an open-minded environment. Personally?
