I have always wanted to do a observation ride in our otter, and after all the jumpers have exited, take over the controls for 30 seconds or so. That would make my day Anyone got a friendly pilot that can be bought with money or booze????

Yea I know how to connect/disconnect them, that is how I got into the mess that I am in now. The canopy is in a duffel bag as we speak while the rig is at the shop getting a AAD installed. My plan was to leave the main there with him in the duffel bag, and he would pack it and find out without telling him that I messed it all up. He told me he did not need it, and the less e.q. he had around the shop that he does not need for a repair the better he feels. I was like Dayum almost slipped one on him lol. I have this problem of taking things apart, seeing how they work cleaning them, and putting them back together. I will sit down with it tonight have a calm look at it, sip some sweet tea and figure out what is up. Thanks

Does it involve [ahhh] a girls finger(we only hope) and your anal regions force field being penetrated[/ahhh]?

OK so in the process of cleaning, flexing, playing with my canopy the lines have gotten messed the hell up. There seems to be a step through, a twist and all kind of other crap in them. I tried to follow them from the riser end to the canopy to figure out what happened, but each riser needs to do something different to correct the mess. What is the best wat to fix them? Hang the canopy up, or what? It is a huge 370sf canopy, that is what is the biggest problem is dealing with all the mess. By the time I think I get it figured out and start to make untwists and step throughs the mental picute of how I was going to fix it goes all to hell.

I have had my nextel phone for almost a year, and I am so fed up with it at this point I will do anything, but pay to get rid of Nextels service. One year contract left. The map they provided showed that there would be service where I work, but 80% of the time it shows none. It works 75% of the time at home. The past month or so about every other call I try to make fails showing (all circuits busy, call failed redialing, or restricted). Voice mails sometimes takes a few days to get to my phone, then after deleting them they reappear at a later date? The phone is not broken. I have heard from friends that wrote a letter to their provider telling their story, and was allowed to get out of their contract without paying the penalty. I dont think I should have to continue to pay for something that I cannot use due to their system being poor. They can have their damn phone back too. Anyone have any thoughts to help me out?

the comparison I was refering to was the micro managing, and the fact that the only way I know what day of the week i am living is due to the daily duties on the list for that day.

Does anyone else really Like the New 05 Mustang design?
cvfd1399 replied to Viking's topic in The Bonfire
It looks like it wants to be a BMW I fucking hate it. It is supposed to be different, a bad ass car, not a pass the grey mustard prick on a cell phone car. What is the difference between a porquepine(sp) and a BMW driver in my town? on the BMW the prick is on the inside. -
After watching the archway mid year video I have been dying for one to play with at the local soccer field! The guy in the video got drug forever in a 3 foot tall field of grass.

Thanks. I posted B/C it the messages were left on Law Enforcement phones, and the area code numbers seemed to be a NEW set of numbers to a old scam

I am sorry for shouting out like this, but I once got an offer for a 26-28 foot LOPO chest mounted reserve for $50. I wanted it to play with on a windy day and as a toy, but I cannot remember who the seller was. This was a few months back. I am now in the position to get it please contact me.

I recieved this via brass at my Sheriffs department To: _Everyone_ Subject: FW: 809 Area Code - IMPORTANT ALERT Subject: 809 AREA CODE We actually received a call last week from the 809 area code. The woman said "Hey, this is Karen. Sorry I missed you--get back to us quickly. Have something important to tell you." Then she repeated a phone number beginning with 809. We didn't respond. Then this week, we received the following e-mail: Subject: DON'T EVER DIAL AREA CODE 809, 284 AND 876 THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION PROVIDED TO US BY AT&T. DON'T EVER DIAL AREA CODE 809 This one is being distributed all over the US. This is pretty scary, especially given the way they try to get you to call. Be sure you read this and pass it on to all your friends and family so they don't get scammed! MAJOR SCAM: Don't respond to Emails, phone calls, or web pages which tell you to call an "809" area Phone Number. This is a very important issue of Scam Busters because it alerts you to a scam that is spreading *extremely* quickly, can easily cost you $2400 or more, and is difficult to avoid unless you are aware of it. We'd like to thank Verizon for bringing this scam to our attention. This scam has also been identified by the National Fraud Information Center and is costing victims a lots of money. There are lots of different permutations of this scam. HERE'S HOW IT WORKS: You will receive a message on your answering machine or your pager, which asks you to call a number beginning with area code 809. The reason you're asked to call varies. It can be to receive information about a family member who has been ill, to tell you someone has been arrested, died, to let you know you have won a wonderful prize, etc. In each case, you are told to call the 809 number right away. Since there are so many new area codes these days, people unknowingly return these calls. If you call from the US, you will apparently be charged $2425 per-minute. Or, you'll get a long recorded message The point is, they will try to keep you on the phone as long as possible to increase the charges. Unfortunately, when you get your phone bill, you'll often be charged more than $24,100.00. WHY IT WORKS: The 809 area code is located in the British Virgin Islands (The Bahamas). The 809 area code can be used as a "pay-per-call" number, similar to 900 numbers in the US. Since 809 is not in the US, it is not covered by U.S. regulations of 900 numbers, which require that you be notified and warned of charges and rates involved when you call a pay-per-call" number. There is also no requirement that the company provide a time period during which you may terminate the call without being charged. Further, whereas many U.S. homes that have 900 number blocking to avoid these kinds of charges, do not work in preventing calls to the 809 area code. We recommend that no matter how you get the message, if you are asked to call a number with an 809 area code that you don't recognize, just disregard the message. Be wary of e-mail, or calls, asking you to call an 809 area code number. It's important to prevent becoming a victim of this scam, since trying to fight the charges afterwards can become a real nightmare. That's because you did actually make the call. If you complain, both your local phone company and your long distance carrier will not want to get involved and will most likely tell you that they are simply providing the billing for the foreign company. You'll end up dealing with a foreign company that argues they have done nothing wrong. Please forward this entire message to your friends, family and colleagues to help them become aware of this scam. Sandi Van Handel AT&T Field Service Manager (920)687-904

LOL not meaning that I SMELL the CO(a colorless odorless gas), but if you smell the exhaust, you know that exhaust has CO in it, therefore you know CO is present when you smell it. My question was did he have any idea what kind of CO levels are usually found in planes where only a hint of exhaust were smelled. Also as as a side note CO detectors are a on a time weighted scale. If it alarms it only means that the sensors have absorbed enough CO to alarm. This doesn really tell you if it got to this level over the last 30 minutes or 3 months. This reason causes alot of older ones in homes to go off, and I come out with a detector and pick up no levels.(firefighter) OSHA says that 9 PPM is the max level allowed in a residence, and that 25 PPM is the max level allowed in the workplace due to the time spent at work v.s. the time you spend at home. 25 PPM is the highest you should be in outside before you need to evacuate the area and set up a hot zone. Might be helpful for someone that gets a meter to ride up to altitude and needs to know what levels are a hazard.
