I just ordered a bottle a spoon and some sugar cubes. Should be here in 5 days according to the delivery chart 49 euro to deliver. Almost as much as the abst. Never had any of the stuff. Although there is supposed to be a bar in New Orleans that specializes in it. Should be a experience for sure.

Well I got her running today and I am very impressed. I have the gains all the way down, and I am still working on the low pass cut off point, but running it at half volume it maxed out the cheap radio shack meter i have at 126 db. I cant wait to get another and get more air moving in there. With the windows down and my truck cab acting like a bandpass, the lows must get a 10 db boost! They said that there is a 2 week break in period before the rubber surround takes shape and the speaker makes its best sound.

My old RF 3412 12's? As an update I went with the Kicker 12''L5 I am having them build a slot vent box with a 2.5 cuft volume. I am powering them with 500w rms/1000 peak(more like 750) I could only afford one right now, and will buy the matching one at a later date. Right now I am debating on what to set the subsonic filter at and the low pass cut off at? I am going to be pushing it pretty hard, and do not want a rogue >20hz to slip up on me at a high volume level and bottom out the coils. The amp Punch 501s has a bit of a crossver on it.

I have 2 Rockford fosgate 501s to work with 250 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms 500 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms in bridged mode I am for pure low hertz spl!

I have heard that mtx is pretty loud, how is the lifespan of the woofer? I am looking for deep and loud when you crank it and clean and full range at normal listing levels. The JBL gt150d 15'' has a spl of 94 dbs and a range of 20-400hz. That is pretty loud and pretty low imo. I am curious on how to use 2 amps on 1 dual voice coil woofer. I was told it could be done by using a meter to equalize both amps output so each coil is recieving the same signal?

I have 2 12'' rockford fosgates in a ported box each recieving 500 watts rms from it's own punch amp. I have never really liked the sound in loudness, or frequency range(it craps out on lows). I am looking to replace them tomorrow and want a groups opinons. I am thinking get 2 more 12's or get 1 15'' monster with dual voice coils and power each coil off a seperate amp. I have 2 500 watt rms each amps to power what ever I choose. What should I do? Ps this is going in the extra cab of a 2000 dodge ram. Thanks

It has to be a felony in louisiana for you to perform one, and even if it is it is frowned upon by the law enforcement unless it is paramount that you had to do it to prevent a death/injury, or the person escaping. If not call them with as much info and let them see what they can do. It is not worth your life to try it over a stupid crime.

Was watching an interview by Paula Zahn on CNN. She was interviewing the head of the LA police department about him wanting the renewal ban on assault weapons(which comes up monday). His comment was that "weapons capable of firing 3-5 shots with the single pull of the triger should not be allowed on the streets" FUCKING helloooooooo....... That is not a assault weapon, that is a MACHINE GUN!!! Now all the gun haters out there that thought this is a ban on 'Ugly guns" now think this is about fully automatic weapons?!!! Is there no way that they can remanufacture the units and resell them. Even if they have to replace 500-700$ in parts it's better than throwing them away. When I get a new rig I am keeping my fcx for future play toys.

Just have a really really big 3 ring release at the "base" and cut it away allowing rockets to propel it away from earth, or would the spin of the earth throw it away?
