"Im moving on with my life."
-
I will stick with the link that is directly from the CIA website that I posted, and not that other site. Like I said before majority of people reading that report in 2000 whatever it was would conclude the same thing that Iraq was in violation and needed to be dealt with. Now on to the topic of bad intel, have you or anyone hopped on the CIA's back about the abysmal intel that was fed to bush?
-
It was from the CIA, read the link.

Nothing I say here is going to change anyones mind. He should have waited until he actually saw a gun. But it was FAR from a ooh, let me pull over today and shoot someone in the face. He matched a description of someone flashing a firearm, he did not freeze(I guarandamntee you he heard the cops yelling, I cut grass with iphone earbuds in and even with the volume up and the mower running I can still hear sounds around me), and he had his hands in his pants. If you diddnt read this which I bet most wont before you hit reply to bash me I want to say the cop was in the wrong, but I could see the events that lead to the shooting could happen to a person
-
Point taken, I challenge others here to read that report in the link I posted, and judge for themselves. The information was fed to him from the CIA and although they never stated "the WMD are parked at 11235 Baghdad blvd in a warehouse". It's pretty much what anyone would have needed to take it to the next level. It point blank states iraq is actively seeking, procuring, testing, and has all the knowledge it needs to enable WMD, along with nuclear weapons, and is even planning on hiding it until the inspections are over and ramping up to full production.

Ok so just like the cop shootings we are now stuck in a situation where we agree that a huge majority of the times a tool that a cop uses is justified and deployed for good. The next question is how often does this tool get used. We both agreed 99% is a good number so how many number of cases does that 1% make up? 100-10,000 a year? I say it's low just like the unjustified cop shootings, and is usually taken care of when exposed. Should never happen in the first place, is not justified, but the good outweighs the bad. I've never stated this here before but my daughter is mixed race, and her mother has spent half her life in Beaumont, Tx and the rest of her life here in Baton Rouge, La and as a minority has never been subject to anything concerning stop and identify, illegal stop and frisk, or any other cop issues.
-
Nope, you misunderstood. I don't care if the cops ask for my ID. I never said that I don't care about giving my ID. If I think they are asking for a legitimate purpose, I'll surely provide it willingly. If, however, I think they are just fucking with me or overstepping their authority, I believe I should have the right to remain an anonymous citizen and go on my way. In short, the choice (absent extenuating circumstances like an active search for a criminal) should be mine. It shouldn't be a crime to be walking dowwn the street expect to be left alone. Point taken. If you were being harassed and could articulate that to a judge I wonder if an arrest for failing to identify could be beaten.
-
Snark: I think you meant that you couldn't care less. Serious response: I don't care if I get asked for my ID either. I do very much care that I can get jailed for refusing to provide it even if I've committed no other crime. Yea its a common mistake I make when typing it thanks. I usually misspell because also, just a brain block with certain things. If you dont care about giving your id, then just give it and you wont go to jail, its pretty simple, and other than a conspiracy theory about harassing people its probably used 99% of the time for good, than harassment. If it ends up that they still take you into custody, well you were probably going to get that regardless if you provided it or not, and now its time to clam up call a lawyer, and let the judge decide. In that case you were probably going to jail anyways, if you refuse to give it your certainly going to jail with a credible charge you cant refute.

You read a different report that I did. Although they did not find WMD, almost every section stated that Hussein still kept the information, and could quickly reconfigure existing chemical plants to weaponize WMD, was actively seeking and making chemicals that only needed a slight alteration to be chemicals in WMD and the CIA report stated his intention was to wait out the investigations then restart. https://www.cia.gov/library/reports/general-reports-1/iraq_wmd/Iraq_Oct_2002.htm#key%20judgemetns%201 Is this the information given to Bush? If so I dont see how he was lying, everything bush stated to americans is in this report as far as I can tell. If this was the information given to Bush, then the CIA, or the specific team that made this report should be the ones to blame.
-
Ok I figured since you were here attacking it that it was something that needed to be dealt with. So where does it lay on your radar from 0 to Out of Control Cop/Swat team? Its funny that the OP has disappeared, without even really stating their position on severity of the S/I statutes. I have laid out my feelings. I could care less if I get asked for my ID. If it goes past that, am I being detained, where is my lawyer, and then clam up.
-
I understand what you posted, but you did not answer my question. Where are all the out of control cases of these statues? You have 23 states and a decade of history of them being in operation, and it's not a full blown pandemic. Just people like they guy in the previous video making a fool of himself.
-
Once again I am AGNOSTIC. Please look it up.
-
Thou shalt not bear false witness. Oh Lord Please let some of these rumours be hung around those I do not like. Seems to me your wishing ill judgement upon others.

He failed to identify that his window was about to be smashed in. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JoBgkAmJUn0&feature=youtu.be These sovereign citizens crack me up. "What right do you have as a man to pull me over"? "The state of Texas sir.", "Speeding isnt a law, you are illegally detaining me". When I hear people complaining about ID laws, this is the type of guy that I picture in my mind.
-
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stop_and_identify_statutes Above is the list of states that require stop and identify statues. In it you will see that 23 states have this law not counting MO which is only in effect for KS. As far as I can tell most of these were done post 2004 Hiibel v. Sixth Judicial District Court of Nevada(someone might now better than I) That leads me to say that in 10 years how much harm has really be shown to come out of this law which has been in effect for almost half the country and a decade of time?

Red Cross - Haiti and half a billion dollars = almost nothing

I believe what you just described was Obamas resume. -
So you are saying you have no VERIFIED proof that WMD was not present is that correct.

I stopped donating to all these things after looking at their overhead costs vs what actually gets donated. I would rather pay for a single moms groceries, or do some actual physical work at an elderly persons home than line the pockets of these giant scam outfits. -
Where did my reply go to him? It was 1000% on topic it had to do with the percentage of the states with stop and identify laws, and years they have been under such laws? If that is not on topic what the fuck is???!

Pay attention - I did not say it was about oil, I said the claim was that it was about the value of the dollar. The dollar is fiat currency - it is backed by nothing. In fact, every dollar in the treasury is borrowed from private banks that create it out of thin air. The gov't 'borrows' money from the Federal Reserve, which is a consortium of private banks, and issues currency based on the 'loan.' It's kind of like Schroedinger's cat in that the banks loan money simply by making an entry in a ledger, and there is no money in the first place. If oil was no longer traded in dollars, there would be a tendency for the dollar to revert to its inherent value - which is zero. That would be bad, m'kay? BSBD, Winsor My apologies I did not phrase my reply right. I was not replying to that particular subject but was soliciting your thoughts on the often used phrase "bush(s) went to war for oil" when in fact only ~3.5% annual imported oil comes to the US from Iraq, and about 3.5% comes from Kuwait.
-
Where did they go, and who got VERIFIED evidence they were all destroyed?
-
Changing the angle huh, well klinger this try at a section 8 isn't going to work either. We're talking about stop and identify laws, and the facts are almost 50% of the U.S. has been living just fine for 10 years plus. When we get this at every county line you let me know and I'll come join your fight. http://tablewarfare.com/images/92/german-army-road-block-with-sentry-box-by-sgts-mess.jpg

I don't buy the US invaded Iraq, or protected Kuwait over oil story Mr. Winsor. The U.S. only imports about 7% of our total 3.3 million barrel annual imports into US from IRAQ, and Kuwait combined.

Yeah. That proves absolutely nothing other than This. It proves a lot. Chicken little screams the sky is falling. Well chicken little has been screaming that for 10 years and yet the troposphere remains in place.
