    I'm not saying your wrong, I'm just saying it's impossible for everyone to even know simple things like that the DAY it happens, or especially if it's a weekend. They change some little BS law that deals with tint or whatever, it may be a week or so before everyone knows. For that matter there is no official "this has changed". That exists in the entire BRPD or EBRSO. Its usually word of mouth, or when someone calls the shift commander who will look it up at the substation.

    No it doesn't at least here. It shows up on your taxes, but does not equate into what you or your department have contributed or what you are able to draw for your top 3 years. It's base, scheduled overtime, holidays, and emergency pay such as hurricanes, that's it.

    Exactly, from where I am talking in Baton Rouge to there is a 53% increase in cost of living. Cant compare salaries without talking about that, it makes the numbers ridiculous without bringing it up. Look at the average salary on Google. The range is 35k-85k from start to retirement for cops in the U.S.

    "Special duty". Not knowing what that means exactly if it's a paid detail or not, but those are paid by a private company requesting the officer to the department, and added to their salary so taxes can be deducted for them, but are not paid for by tax payers which can look real deceiving if you did not know.

    Nope but I have a CCW permit. It doesn't matter to me as I never open carry. Your fooling yourself if you think all cops should know everything in the WEST for their state much less stay 100% up to date.

    They do, but combine that with thousands upon thousands of laws that change every session, and a bottom of the barrel workforce in some locations is how you end up sometimes with that. Case in point yesterday I was in target, and a kid who had to be mid 20's has a high point (POS) pistol half in and half out of his waistband. I was going to say something, but for the life of me I could not remember if they changed the law where to comply with open carry it had to be 100% out in the open, or if IWB but shirt tucked in to show majority of the weapon was ok. I was with my 8 yo daughter so I just walked the other way, and got what we needed and left.

    So you challenged me to find a video you wouldn't be able to watch anyway? What would that have achieved? Anyway, just look up the story. The reason for and progress of the traffic stop (up to the point the cars are stopped) are stated in text and the accounts of both sides tally. As for the cop approaching the vehicle with a weapon drawn, well, you're just going to have to trust me on that one. (If you're too lazy to type the guy's name into YouTube) No you hateful person links fucking work normally, just the ones posted did not. I found one that works now, yep looks like nothing out of the ordinary was done to deserve it. Why the fuck are you so mad and hateful all the time towards me when I have done nothing to you to provoke this response?
