    HEY ASSHOLE!!!!

    HUH! WTF U WANT!
  2. Yea I am not mad at me or anything, just asking fo' da tips of da trade
  3. I was 325 now I am 270 on my way down to 225
  4. My fall rate is anywhere from 126-174mph. The thing is that I am not exactly sure what I am doing to obtain those speeds. I have a super huge tony suit with swoop cords, booties, and afterburners. The swoop cords feel like emergency brakes after going delta down to someone to slow down which is good, but not so much keeping level with them once I get there. So far I have tried using the swoop cords only with it being tight and loose. The way I used them was spreading out flat as can be, and straightening my arms and legs straight out. That slowed me down, but I had little direction control. The other way I have tried is normal leg position, flat belly and really cupped shoulders and kept head down. I could really feel the deceleration and the wind noise gets quieter in this position. What I need verification on is that if I pick my head up to look around that "spills the air'' causing me to fall faster right. So the problem around this is to turn 90 degrees and look sideways for my target correct? The other thing is that if I use me shoulders to turn it will do the similar thing, so the correct thing to do is use leg turns. I like leg turns b/c I can keep my arms in a still position for docking and use my feet to turn and drive. I seem to be more of a leg person anyways. People tell me that when I deploy they have seen me start to turn a bit and use my legs to stop it. I do this without realizing it, just comes naturally to me possibly after years of SCUBA diving. Any corrections or tips are greatly appreciated. It is getting better, but if I don't get this licked no one will want to jump with me, and I will be forced to go belly to earth with freefliers!
  5. That was the conclusion I came to last night while watching t.v. I am just gonna sit there at work and recreate scenes from the ''Dilbert" cartoon!
  6. Well we know that on each end of the spiral is a beam of emitted radiation. I always thought that information about what emitted the radiation could be recovered by analizing that. Like reading the color of a flame, or smoke particles of a fire to determine what is burning.
  7. I second this request many times. We have such a large group of dz.ers but no way to find who is a and who isn't at your dz without looking like a fool and asking everyone in person.
  8. I had the same argument with mine today. He kept telling me all objects fall at the same rate, and terminal velocity of all objects is 120 mph regardless of weight or surface are presented to the wind! I was like dude FREAKING listen to me I am an ANVIL I know how things fall relative to me and a 120 pounder will not fall the same rate as me when we are both belly to earth. He also stated that there is no reason for different type jump suits b/c "all you skydivers fall the same mph no matter how tight or baggy that suit is" He then proceded to tell me that the different fall rates on my neptune are based on times, and that I was falling the same MPH, but had longer and shorter timed jumps that is what that is all about How a whuffo gonna tell me how to fall??
  9. I thought metal was a no-no but I have talked to people that brought in cd players and listened to music while they were laying there.
  10. Rained every day for the last 3 months. When it is not raining it is 92 with 100% humidity (heat index 105+). Mosquitos are bigger than the birds grass is 3 feet tall taxes are too high politicians are corrupt the roads suck as do the redlights drivers need to put down the cell phone and pay attention to the redlights so more than 3 cars can go per cycle I dont care if you speed but dont go 10 MPH slower than the speed limit creditcard and bank loan interest is too high I am tired of the political bull shit on tv FXC needs to send me my aad back faster fall rate needs to be slower work weeks need to be 3 days long with double the pay the DZ needs to be 2 hours closer to home free beer needs to flow out of the ground cold like an artesian well!....HUGE BREATH...dont get me started
  11. Lmao I just got back from having the same metal in the eye speach. The MRI is not that bad. I have to get one in a week for my knee. I will have gone to the doctor 3 times for the same problem. 1.Initial visit+x-ray(why take a x-ray for a ligiment) 2.For the MRI(what I knew I needed in the 1st place) 3.To review the results of the MRI with him 4.Possible Surgery 5.Possible Post surgery visits 6.Possible Rehab At least the doc got me to make a house payment for him
  12. consider it population control? Sex complicates things like what wondering what his/her name is if you ever see them again, and targeting the right angle of approach for a booty call.
  13. Depending on what type smoke detector you have what proally happened is that you have the ionization kind and when the boom hit it knocked dust into the path of the radiation source and the collector. Might have thought the dust particles were smoke particles. Or my other theory is that it got scared and wanted a hug
  14. Were you in my dream the other night?!!!! I had the same idea. We were beamed to a large flat cloud that had a small cloud covered waiting area, and you just walked over to the edge and jump off. For exits into the wind there was a seperate area where the cloud was in the jetstream and you just jumped off the cloud into the wind. Also there was a course consisting of small circular cloud rings that you dive through like in the cell phone skydiving game, but in my dream it was like the sega biker game "road rash" , jumpers had clubs and small pieces of chains that they could beat each other with to try and make their score better. There was no landing area tho?
  15. STUDENT EXPERIENCE BELOW I am in the same boat. What is starting to help me is to not rule out a PLF for safety sake, but stay focused on standing it up. Also I had a problem with trying to reach the ground with my feet instead of letting the ground come to me leaving me all sprawled out not in a good position to spring or jogg off any extra speed when I touch down. So I started calming down, not looking straight down, and putting my mind on waiting for the ground to come to me and stand up. One thing that I am also doing is flaring too late. I have always felt that it is better to roll off a late flare than to drop 10 feet out of the air on a early flare. I am now starting earlier on the flare and holding it out. It feels really wierd to the point where I think I need to let up the toggles or it will stall, but if I hold it everything falls into place. I jump a super tug boat of a canopy(370' F-111) in hot/humid weather and flare from 1/2-full is like doing tricep extensions with 50 pounds attached to each line. Up high flares seem easy(possibly due to differences in altitude density above 2k) but I really did not notice how long it took or how much altitude I went through to fully flare it out. I started practice flaring and counting how long it took to go to a full flare. That gave me a little knowledge on when to flare v.s how long it takes for me to go to 100% brakes and for the canopy to fully respond. I constantly remind myself when hearing people talk about this, and reading posts about it is that I fly a different canopy and will most likley get different results. Like I said above this is my experiences with a large canopy and it might help you. If you care to try any of it ASK ST&A or INSTRUCTOR first it's always best.
  16. As expensive as skydiving is I think it is cheaper than having sex with your wife!(runs away before she reads this lmao)
  17. I have thought of the same thing before. I like the idea of a sit fly that way you can really give them goofy faces and the camera can see your face good too. After you find out what stunt you are about to do act like you are walking off the set then come back with all your gear, or even better fully decked out in a BIRDMAN!
  18. Exactly. As time goes on the more I am addicted to skydiving. No whuffo can fully understand why and that makes it even better. They sit there and say whuffo comments and it fuels me into wanting to exit the door at that EXACT moment with them strapped to a Tandem and scream to them in freefall. THIS IS WHY BIOTCHHHEZZZZ! GET YOU SOME!!
  19. I still don't understand why a DOT approved full face name brand Motorcycle helmet from a well named motorcycle store is $74 and the Z1 is $270(cheapest I can find) Is it just B/C it is a "skydiving" helmet?
  20. Ahh I see what threw me off I thought you were trying to fit it into the regular Z1 not a STI. The Z1 and a neptune is what I am getting. Thanks anyways. I am sure this needed to be addressed anyways
  21. Cool thanks. Is that the regular Z1 or the STI?
  22. The tunnel cam is cool, although a little dark I am thankful for having it at all
  23. Bump I wanna know how good a neptune fits in it too.
  24. It hits me every time square in the chest. Chill bumps and moist eyes. BSBD It takes a piece out of everyone of us.
  25. The tunnel cam is up, if your at Perris FIX the other camera!
