Mine too we jump at 14.5k and it started logging at 12k I pulled at 4k, and it showed 2.1k I was jumping with 2 other jumpers that had dive computers and my neptune showed way off. It is running on the last update. I am thinking of starting to jump with a mechanical on the same hand again to make sure it is ok.

I had a question about this too, so I figured I would just add to this thread. What is the best fit for you? 1. Tight and all the way up to the crotch 2. Snug and all the way up to the crotch 3. Tight and 2-3 inches below the crotch 4. Snug and 2-3 inches below the crotch. I cant figure out if it is the placement of the straps, or if mine are too loose giving them room to jerk into position if you know what I mean. It seems fine on the ground, then as you sit in the plane they move, you readjust on the way too the door, and I am sure they move again in the air. I hate the way it looks when you put them all the way in the crotch and tighten them up good. It looks like there is a small couch pillow in your pants lol. Hope this helps and does not hijack.

I am happy someone with his history and respect stood up and said what needed to be said. The fact that a black woman has 7 kids with different fathers and sits at home all day not even thinking about moving up on the food chain is not anyones fault but her own. Same thing goes for all the 15 to mid 20 year olds that are running up and down he street trying to be rappers and gangsters. No job, or a job at burger king living in government housing and sleeping till 12:00 and staying up all night instead of doing what they should to get ahead in life they blame the "white man". I guess the "white man" made you do it huh.

I as a 14 jump student I look at the wind sock, and the blade and figure if the wind has changed from take off. I usually find the sock easier to read, but not rely in it B/C it can stick being on a metal hinge and all. Then I look at what the other jumpers have already set up(right or left hand pattern) and I follow that. I under a 370 sqft canopy are usually last to land except tandems unless I pull low, BUT I NEVER PULL LOWER THAN 3.5K and that is a personal thing. Me and my canopy are still "dukeing" it out with each other. There is a set pattern for downwind, base, and final, but for me getting out first, I find that I fly straight into landing since I am so far out. I always keep my eyes open if I am comming in from a different pattern than everyone else and usually land 100 ft. short to not disrupt the pattern already set -

I am ready to go if it happens. I don't worry about "if the reserve will work". Just do the thing, and take what it gives me. If it throws me a curve ball that is cool I will try and work through it. It sounds dumb to some people, but I am ready for whatever happens.

Me and a few friends spent over $2,000 on a business friends credit card in a town we had only been to for one night. The bar was 14 blocks in "that" direction. I have NO frreaking clue how I made it back to my hotel at ALL! Great night!!

I don't know lol. I can't get very far (25 meters) I am not sure if it is my drunkenness(thank you absolut vodka) or my optical mouse that does not respond well to fast movements

Is the slider not wide enough, or too wide? I could see that if it was too small either it would really come down b/c the lines are pushing it, or it would hang b/c of too much friction making it stick. You say that it comes down, but not all the way. I think too that if it were too big on opening the lines would spread it enough to push it down that far, then as the angle of the lines decrease it stops shoving it down? I have litle experience, but this is how it would seem in a mechanical way to me.

Thanks I will keep the rig as there are not alot of them out there with less than 10 jumps on it. As of now if today I had 200 jumps I would not be intrested in anything under 500ft, but one day there is a 1780ft A 5 miles from my house in a cow field that I want to conquer. As well as getting a BASE number

Ok so I got 14 jumps and I need 186 more that is not my question. I now own a Mt1-XX rig that has twin 370Sqft 7 Cell canopies in it. From Paraflite I will eventually buy a sport rig for skydiving. My question is will this rig, or canopies be usefull to me when I want to try my hand at BASE, or should I sell it to offset the cost of a new one. Right now I load the canopy at .86:1, but that is with the rig weighing 47 LBS. I figure if I get a base rig and put the 370 In it it will be loaded around .80:1 The good thing is that it only has 6 jumps on it, and it is Camouflage! What do you think.
