I am all for whatever is easier. I stated that I often let people have my money and not recieve anything. Then I set up an example showing how I understand that they do it that way b/c of planning. Skydiving is expensive I stopped bitching about money a long time ago:)

How many times have you paid for something, and never used it? I go to events all the time that have food/attractions included in the price, but never eat it. It is a waste for me. I see the cooks view also, don't know how many tickets sold don't know how much food to cook. It is a waste to cook a pay per plate jambalaya for 200 people and only 50 people eat.

Slow deep breaths at altitude. On the ground small "panting" breaths will get you by, but at altitude, you have to take deep breaths and get the fresh all the way down in your lungs to the avoli sacs. I see this alot with people that have asthma, they have so much anxiety about not being able to breathe that they almost could tear through a brick wall to get a good breath. I am sure that you have jump anxiety, but some of it might be due to the panic mode your body goes into when your blood oxygen content gets low. Learn as much as you can about emergency procedures, and landing safety. The more you know in your mind that you have done everything you can to be safe the less you worry about it. I read the SIM manuel once a month at work, and it really calms me down.

Sometimes I notice if I am climbing real slow 400fpm or less. It will not switch to "plane mode" The altimeter is climbing, but the rate of ascent is not fast enough to kick it into the mode. What altitude did you exit? What type of jump. I have done a 3 way that funneled, and I must have been above a jumper and in his burble b/c the logging did not kick in until 2k had passed. Maybe if it was a hop n pop in a slow plane it never knew it was going up, and you opened up your canopy so fast it never knew it was jumping? I have a neptune field rep comming to the dz this weekend to give mine a check up. Ask around your dz I never knew we had one until I posted a problem here.

Drop the pan, all the fluid will fall out, and you can replace that filter while it is off.

I will try that. I did not know how much visible light that would put out in the yard. Worth a try tho. I might be enough to reflect for the camera, but not so much to light up the yard for the neighbors. Thanks

I bought a weatherproof CCTV camera to mount outside my house to watch my dogs play, and keep an eye outside. It works well in the daylight, but when it switches to night vision mode the 4 Infrared illuminators that it has in it does not penetrate 5 feet into the dark. Anyone know where I can get a IR Illuminator unit(like pic 1) for under $50 that penetrates about 25-50 ft. Also do the ruby red quartz heat lamps(pic 2) work, or they a different wavelength. It doesn't have to be completely invisible to the naked eye. I don't mind a little red glow I just don't want to have to leave all the porch lights on at night to see the dogs. Also do the infrared filter films work(pic3)? With these you convert any incandescent or halogen light to a infrared light by mounting a light in a housing and let the light shine through the "window tint" like filter? Thanks Chadleyyyyyy

I like the 4k idea, but when you advise the people getting exit order right they are like "woah that is high". I hardly ever get put in the same exit order. Kallends(?) FF simulator shows that lighter persons should get out first. Every time I run it based on a similar jump that I did getting out first the simulator shows 124' seperation. If I get out after a slow faller the simulator shows 1224' seperation.

$10 for a 15 minute ride could pay that thing off. Oops I for got to add the cost of repairs to it after a bunch of skydivers crash it, and pull eachother on creepers. Better charge $20

Royal Blue Z1 with metallic flakes in it! She sparkles in the sun like a bass boat. Fits pretty snug on the chin area. Cant wait to try it out I was tempted to get on the motorcycle and hit the back roads with it for a preview
