  1. If they are reposts I don't care eat me. Ps page me later
  2. 2.0.2.5 Version I am not there every weekend, but I and a girl from alti- set up a day for him to pass by and no show for whatever reason. No biggie service so far has been great. I am just gonna send it back to be updated and looked at. It has the metal bracket on it I was advised that it can be now removed per alti due to it causing cracking on the display? Also how hard would it be to switch colors of the case? I have red neptune , and now have a blue jumpsuit and soon blue rig. Thanks Chad
  3. X4 That is what I will do on my next jump. As far as the ass kicking goes bring it on lol. I work out based on skydiving movements. I.E. 1.5 hour cardo, then hard work on lats and triceps(flares) quads and back(for squatting with that 47 lb MT on my back) and then a general overall. If it burns after the jump then I know what to work on more Joking
  4. B/C I am 312 out the door and noone that I jump with could keep up with me. Although I guess they could try.
  5. Thanks. There was a field rep named jesse that was supposed to come by july 3rd, but he never came. Check out my last jump numbers. It was a breif 4 way from 13.8k planned to dump at 11k and do a long canopy ride down. The numbers are funny, and off. Jump 21 Exit: 11.8K I looked at it before exit it showed 13.8k Deploy: 12.1K I threw out at 11.1k Average speed: -34mph? LMAO OK..... 12k 71mph I was in a track then 9k 33 mph The rest was probbaly right 6k11 3k8 The altimeter works really well, on the way up I refernced it to everyones and to the pilots guages and it showed true for all. The log is qwirky some times. Thanks for the offer I will see what I can do.
  6. I tried to do a update off my labtop running 2000. After numerous(hours) of attempts at installing the "special ir to com port" drivers I deleted it all and said screw it I will send it off or wait for a filed rep to show up at the dz one day.
  7. Yep....The FBI just sent 18 agents and set up a field office in town(Baton Rouge) to start investigating "political corruption" I was like where were you a couple hundred years ago??!! lol They better sharpen their pencils and get ready to have attempts made at lining their pockets by the ploiticians to get the "heat" off.
  8. Question there brother. After this thread and recent events on my rw jumps I want to do a 14k solo tracking jump. Assuming 20mph winds on jumprun minimal changes on the way down, and track in one direction the whole time. The exit order would be best to get out last and track into the wind the same way jumprun was running(assuming a headwind jumprun) that way once you track way upwind and deploy it can help bring you back? Or track up jumprun for a while then turn 90 degrees and track for the rest so you don't go out so far? As you know I fly a MT1-XX canopy that has a ok glide and I can sit in brakes like a buzzard caught in a thermal if that helps the decision out any. Thanks
  9. Before this weekend I would have thought the same thing the other poster said. Saturday 4-way rw/hnp 14k griped formation exit, 11k turn track for 4 seconds deploy for a 10kish 4 canopy hop n pop. Well the exit was ok the short rw dive was good, tracked looked over left shoulder and saw 2 other guys tracking, look right did not see 3rd guy. Pull as I am looking up at my canopy to watch deployment that 3rd guy came deploying past me to my right!!!! I was pissed as hell!!! It is hard to say how far he was away from me, but I knew who it was, and could see every one of his lines clearly. Probbaly 50-100 feet away or more like I said it is hard to tell. There was no time to turn b/c he was comming from above, and I could not see him due to my inflating canopy. Thank god he was in the early stages of deployment and went under me. I tracked my slot and gave a good wave off, and a look up above me and never seen him. I
  10. I knew Louisiana was a messed up state but damn we cant even get a online will without an attorney!! Somebody rescue me from this stench we call LA RESULTS FROM THE SITE Sorry! As a result of your answers given in the Preliminary Questionnaire, we recommend you consult an attorney in your jurisdiction. You have indicated that: - 1) You live in Louisiana. The BuildaWill is currently not programmed to provide information and forms for these jurisdictions. We are currently working on adding these jurisdictions to BuildaWill. Please check back with us in the near future
  11. Whip it out the video pics that is!
  12. Here I sit all broken hearted, I had to shit but only farted!
  13. 1:2:0 3 way that spun like a tilta-whurl and a 14k 4 way that broke at 10k and turned into a 4 way hop n pop. That was fun!! Got signed off to pack first self pack job and first deployment above 5.5
  14. I was in a questionable establishment today while doing my business. Every guy knows that truck stop bathrooms have a world of entertainment on the walls, so while I was doing my thing I decided to read some of the jokes on the wall when I came across this gem written in blue ink pen "why are you looking at the wall the joke is in your hand" I pissed on the floor I was laughing so hard. So post yours..ooh by the way, the joke did not apply to me
  15. No to hijack but... anyone that wants a ride to Gold Coast from Baton Rouge this weekend load up!! I need someone to talk to for the 2.5 hour drive through the vast swamp land we call Louisiana. Free ride too
  16. Poll choice number 5 a rick (redneck)
  17. Tell me more about your experiences with it.
  18. Cool, this is all the answers I was wanting to learn from thanks. I was also wondering on this same line. Every time I see pictures of people water training it is in a 4ft pool where you can stand up. Shouldn't it be in water that is deeper where you have to swim instead of walk under the canopy. Also what about a reserve ride where once you land in the water you cannot chop the canopy from above you. What about deep moving water, they make water parachutes that act as an anchor(pic1,2,3). If you are in moving water and you canopy inflates, it will drag you if you are unable to get it off you. Since it is not a round water anchor like this in the picture. If it is pointed nose down could it dive underwater instead of just inflate and pull you in the direction of the current?. (last Pic). I speak from a person who has dove in rivers before where you had to keep a head low angle against the flow to keep your body pushed against the bottom of the river and hands dug into the bottom.
  19. http://www.kenkifer.com/bikepages/skills/spokes.htm That is a good site, no pictures tho. I searched msn for "how to true a bicycle rim" there are tons of sites
  20. Ever watched fear factor when they submerge the contestants in a tank and see who can hold their breath the longest? I watched a episode where out of the 5 that did the stunt only one held their breath for over 10 seconds. They just freaked out at the situation, dropped the signal device and was rescued by the safety divers. One of them was a professional swimmer. In a normal situation, they could have held their breath for at least a minute in a bathtub, but the fear and excitement got to them.
  21. Well if that is the case then why do we wear flotation devices? It only takes 3 seconds or less to slide it out of the holster and start breathing from it. I really want to see the people that say find the seam and swim out from under it really do it every time when there is saltwater in your eyes, possibly an injury, lines tangled around you , and for some reason your rig is still on you. I am talking a safety measure here not as an excuse to not do the right thing.
  22. I was thinking today about your canopy landing over you, or your rig sinking you if you landed in water. It would be a lifesaver to have a "spare-air"(see site) attached to your rig. They are fairly small, have good secure ways to hold them, and last about 5 minutes or more if you are above 30 feet. We use them for underwater search and rescue incase we need to bail out of the supplied air mask and ascend to the surface. www.spareair.com
  23. and once you find the topics post a link for us lazy folks to read.
  24. Loosen the oposite spokes half a turn and tighten the oposite spoke half a turn and then spin the tire. Where it rubs "tighten it away from the rub". until it is straight. If the rim has a flat spot, that is if it goes up and down instead of wobbles it needs to go to a bike shop.
