    Does this policy hold after use as well? I would look for a new rigger if I had a mal and used my reserve on a Friday and the rigger refused to pack it because he wanted to air it. Edited for grammar.

    Teenage drug use is way lower in Norway than in the US. The murder rate is lower, and the life expectancy is higher. I am pretty sure more terrorists are targeting the US than Norway. What kind of parent are you that you live in a place like that? Why aren't you moving to Norway? Is your patriotism more important than your child's safety?

    Yep, makes sense to me. When I worked in the Arctic commercial flights were on small planes (twin Otters, King Airs, DC3s) or helicopters. The safety briefing would be given by the co-pilot and usually included the tid-bit that the rifle and ammo were stored behind the Captain's seat.

    I would want to have a real good look at the redistricting system in the state before I would agree to that proposal. If I was convinced it was a non-partisan system I would think it would be a better system for a big state like Cal; not so much for a small state.

    I hope the NFL is very clear why they are doing whatever it is that they eventually do. The issue of misconduct is one thing, but the issue of gambling is another. If they want to go after the gambling issue they can take it a long way without anyone calling unfair. If it is the misconduct issue, history says they have to let him back in fairly quickly. You can't have one standard for linemen or d-backs and another for quarter-backs.

    The Falcons won't. In fact, if there's anybody else who may get scrwed it's the Falcons. They may be lookin gat trying to recover the bonus money they paid him. But this can also destroy the franchise for 5 years because Vick's salary counts as a hit against the salary cap. If they cannot release his salary from the salary cap, then they'll have to hire more talent without the money to pay them until the cap hit expires. The Falcons have a salary cap of 102 million dollars. Vick signed a 10 year, $130 million contract in 2004. He's made $44 million in the last two years - $37 million of which were guaranteed bonuses. Bonuses can be amortized but if a player is cut the bonus must be meqsured against the cap within two years. It'll be a $15 million cap hit next year for them. That's how a team gets screwed. Did the Dolphins have to take the SC hit on the money Riki owes them? If the Falcons can sue Vick for the bonus they should be able to argue that legally they didn't pay it to him.

    AA and NA have many characteristics of a religion. That you cannot win without submitting to a higher power is one tenant that has been well debated; that you must confront your helplessness in the face of ALL the bad things including but not limited to, alcohol, narcotics, your sex addiction (denying it just sets you back to step one) is another aspect of the dogma of BILL. That no other program will work is another. However like most religions, there are those who believe the dogma word for word, and those who believe the words are merely signposts to what is truly important. When you cleaned up fifteen years ago (congratulations) your purpose was to make your life better n'est pas? Is it better? If it is then you win.
