Should Ahmadinejad be permitted to visit Ground Zero?
Andrewwhyte replied to Muenkel's topic in Speakers Corner
I'm not sure that's true. There was a bunch of stories a few years ago about the UN types parking wherever the fuck they wanted to in NYC and there wasn't a thing the authorities could do about it. Diplomatic immunity is a very powerful thing, although it is considered a small price compared to the enormous economic benefit the US and NYC gets from hosting the UN. -
Should Ahmadinejad be permitted to visit Ground Zero?

Does he actually need permission? Doesn't he carry a diplomatic passport when he comes on UN business? -
Belinda Stronach is the richest woman in the country; If she lived in Michigan or Marseilles she would have traveled to California because she was of the opinion that that doctor and/or hospital was the best in the world at that procedure. These are the benefits of being a billionaire.

180 degree front riser requirement for "A"
Andrewwhyte replied to hackish's topic in Safety and Training
Getting back to the OP. I have never heard a novice complain that they were unable to complete the riser spiral for the A CoP. Your post said that you believed you had done it, but because of something somebody said you now know you didn't. When observations don't fit the theory I suggest you re-examine the theory. If you still have doubts go for a skydive and repeat the experiment; go try another 360 front riser spiral. You talk about being on a 1:1 wing-loading, but then about being on student gear; are you in the 250lb range? You asked if some people working on their A are jumping smaller, faster canopies. The answer is yes they are. Most dZs have some smaller transition canopies that people start to use around the time they get their SOLO certificates. If however you do weigh 250 lbs, I suspect you will be staying on the 280s for a while. -
Put them on your fries and add gravy; Voila poutine.

Ohh, I get it. When the US gets attacked we are all in this together, when UK or Spain gets attacked that's their fucking problem.
-
I don't think I have seen it ride up so much that I was afraid for the student's safety. I do tend to really tighten the main lift webs and back diagonals when I think they are going to 'flow' to the point that they are almost being crunched.

Huh? What about London? What about Madrid?

No, I take them and loosen the chest strap after opening so they can breathe. They often don't have a good time because they are in pain all the way down, but I guess that's life being a fatty.

Actually mercenaries have had very little to do with winning our freedoms in past wars.

Stop doing tandems. Tandems are a great intro to the sport and can be part of a really good progression program but if you have made the decision to do AFF then get with it. When you have twenty jumps you will see what I mean. I have jumped at both Perris and Elsinore a couple of times, not enough to be intimate with their programs, but I have been around enough to know that you are very lucky to have to choose between two centres with such good reputations. My own opinion is that if Perris can give you an AFF program that is integrated with the tunnel then that should be so head and shoulders above anything else available that that should be the decider. If you want to jump at Elsinore after that then do that.

Success.

I live on the very northern fringe of the North American agriculture belt. I figure I can make a bundle as we expand with the new climate. My big conundrum is this: Should we maximize short term income by pulping as we deforest the north or maximize greenhouse gases by burning it all?

Father forgive them, they know not what they speak! There was almost no produce in the farmer's market last week on account of the killing frost the week before. Oh well, at least we had a beautiful weekend. It got up to about 65 F on both days and was mostly above freezing at altitude during the middle of the day. Hopefully no snow until after the Brian Germaine course at the end of the month.

You buy a ship and order the Captain to 'take 'er through.' That's how.

Yes, and that is how it should be. No one in Iraq is saying that these security needs are no longer there. Hopefully the new service providers will provide their employees with more appropriate SOPs; if not the Iraqis will put some more people in prison; this seems like a logical step on the road to a civil society.

What do they charge? For a foreskins fan? Are you fucking kidding?!?!? -
More Guns, Not Less, Would Prevent Shooting Massacres
Andrewwhyte replied to Clownburner's topic in Speakers Corner
So what about Iraq? Do you think the problem is that the honest, peace loving Iraqi civilians just don't have the ability to protect themselves? Should we just send a shit load of guns, distribute them, and bring the boys home? -
Done.

you squeak out 1 win against a bad Miami team and you think you are contenders. The foreskins will miss the playoffs again this year.

OR a Cowboys fan if you are interested in talent.

There called little people don't you know?

What the fuck is that? PD pretends to promote, but only "uses" people (Airspeed, PD swoop team, etc.) to sell their stuff to newbies . . .

I can sort of see where you could argue that they are not cowards if their consciense wont let them fight in the particular war in question, but to call them brave is ridiculous. During the Viet Nam war there was a draft. At that time the deal was that exposure to the draft was part of the obligations of being an American. If you weren't willing to pay that price you could leave; some did and I don't think they were cowards. Some stayed and when they were drafted they stood up like men and said no. They did so knowing there would be consequences; these men were not cowards. But those who stayed in the US, enjoying the benefits of the country and then slunk away in the night to form the New Democrat Party in Vancouver when their name was called, those men were cowards.
