So if I am flying New York- London I can fly American and subsidize soldiers' travel or BA and not. Still not fair to AA

I did 15 out of a 206 in one day last month. Would have done more but we had to devote a few loads to the IAD class. The math on the pilot pay is still wrong. The OP said 20 loads per day at $10. That is only $400.00 for the weekend.

Most important foreign policy challenges facing the US today
Andrewwhyte replied to nerdgirl's topic in Speakers Corner
So third world generals get weapons and the US gets oil. Oh look, a happy coincidence of wants. -
Of course when you say "we" you mean the little people and not the president. Canada delayed declaring war for three days so the equipment could gush across the border between the two neutral parties. Following that the equipment and ordinance transfers were more clandestine. Same thing happened during WWI.

Might want to hold your tongue, here comes Hanna.

Not yet. Just waiting for my license from the national firearm and knife registry.

Most important foreign policy challenges facing the US today
Andrewwhyte replied to nerdgirl's topic in Speakers Corner
The US will still make weapons. -
Given MAD I presume you mean at the conclusion of the European leg of WWII. It is highly doubtful the US would have succeeded with an invasion at that time. They still had the pacific war to prosecute and the allies were basically spent. Besides the bulk of the human carnage, in terms of death anyway, had already occurred by the time WWII got started.

It is a complicated question, but still valid. Hitler would have been defeated without the US, but USSR (who actually won the European conflict) would have controlled Europe.

1. Mexican border 2. Food 3. Pandemic These are not unrelated and have linkages to resource scarcity, organized crime, poverty, climate change, among others. -

One of the major causes of pain on opening is the strap moving up the leg under tension. After you have the harness on try doing the "sumo move" where you lift each knee high. This will move the strap higher into your crotch where it is going to end up anyway. If you are into losing weight the cardio machines are your friend, but a few leg exercises will help build muscle tone on your inner thigh.

T-shirts, coffee cups, souvenirs, for the Apocalypse
Andrewwhyte replied to SpeedRacer's topic in Speakers Corner
1984 man, that's the end of the world. The planets all line up then. No wait the great planet line up is in 1992, that's the end of the world. I read that during the run up to the end of the first millenium there was a lot of talk of the end of days. I am pretty sure that whoever wrote the Book of Revelations wasn't thinking 2000+ years. -
McCains VP choice-who would make him unbeatable?
Andrewwhyte replied to warpedskydiver's topic in Speakers Corner
As others have said there is no KO choice. That said I think Huckabee would be a net positive in terms of votes. The bible thumpers are very organized and very good at getting the vote out. i doubt they will be very enthusiastic for McCain. The other point for Huck is that he is genuinely a likeable sort and does very well on TV. No question he would cost the campaign soft supporters but he would force Obama to ramp up his Christian credentials. That sword also cuts both ways. -
Practice pulls...is it always this frustrating?
Andrewwhyte replied to Ion01's topic in Safety and Training
Training pulls can be very frustrating. The important thing to remember is that when you have 100 jumps it will not matter whether you did 3 or 10 TPs. That said why don't you take more control of your destiny; make your own throwing dummies. Are you using newspaper? If you are try folding a bit over on each end and securing it with a rubber band. One end is to give you something to grab, the other is to ensure the dummy stays in the pouch until you pull it. -
Name ONE of Obama's Congressional accomplishments
Andrewwhyte replied to bodypilot90's topic in Speakers Corner
Name one thread started by a Republican that talks about McCain's strengths as opposed to Obama's failings. -
The profit margin on a tandem is large enough that they can absorb 3%; on experienced jumps they cannot.
-
Can you elaborate on that?

Ya, we do well mostly in water sports too: Hockey, Speed skating, curling,.. did I mention hockey.

Oh good, I wasn't the only one.
