  1. John took some of his stuff out of an excellent/better but longer 60 page article written by Jerry Sobieski. used to be a link to it on this site, but it has been broken...naughty sangiro ramon
  2. And hook it freakin hard!!!!!!! just kidding look on the australian parachute federation website for a document on flying and landing high performance canopies. good luck
  3. Lapalisse has Aug 10-18th posted as dates for Espace 2002. I wouldn't mind going anyway if it will be a fun boogie, but if it has truly fallen, maybe ai will just go back to Summerfest in Chicago. ramon

I need to give you the main risers for that container tomorrow!!! period (well you could get main risers or borrow, but..I could give you the right ones anyway) I'm going to the UAE Friday. send me a message how to get them to you ramon
  5. C'mon....... It is the best boogie in Europe. Where else do you get a tailgate jump ship that holds 40+ jumpers and is jet powered?
  6. Me Wane and Hookit may try to go. Dz.comers??????? bloo skies ramon
  7. Last bunch of voodoos I have seen were messed up, but at least Sandy was fixing them for free (making them voodoo IIs) last bunch of Odyseys I have seen were screwed up to the tune of messed up riser cover flaps over the reserve contatiner, broken dive loops, incorrectly size harnesses and messed up main packing trays (too small)...incidentally everything off the shelf I have seen has been fine but custom items seem to be really bad lately. I have not seen or heard of any mirage screw ups. Get a vector III or a mirage.. ramon
  8. Sounds really cool. Much better than setting your "converse all stars" down into 1/2" water on top of mud in Houston while going 40 on your FX/Cobalt/ other surf toy...which is really fun but the dirt/mud get old. I've never landed in snow....must be really great.
  9. You wear it up high wear it counts!. Hey Don't forget to give me a "Paula" hug if I see you tomorrow, I'm going to Abu Dhabi and won't be back till Feb-March. ramon
  10. We can always do hybrid dives too. Several of us know how to organize them now and if Chris Fiala comes, he knows how to organize big ones ramon
  11. I am trying to get a bunch of load organizing. It is always much more fun to have someone famous organize a dive for you.
  12. They are planning another freefly festival at Spaceland for April (April fools is usually the time frame). The owner will post details later but tentatively there will be. 1. Fun freefly scrambles (sit and head down random team drawings making sure each team at least has one head downer if their are head down compulsory moves) 2. Seminars (Maybe Rook Nelson and Max Cohn)
  13. Was reading some older posts, I quote....
  14. Houstonians don't walk anywhere and may be high on the list but Baton Rouge and New Orleans, LA. have a huge amount of heffers. I see more fat girls in bars out there than I do here. I mean their pasttime is getting together in large groups and stuffing your self followed by getting wasted. At least Houston has the most Fake Tits ramon

Some/most of these guys live in campers (not even fullsize trailers). have no insurance (broken ankle away from the poor house). have expensive recreational drug habits don't own a thing except gear, stickers and cute little rig like back packs. can't afford to do anything like take a ski vacation of scuba vacation unless they have well off parents. typically move from DZ to DZ because of political or money problems. Can't afford any other hobbies or nice cars. many of them starve during long periods of bad weather if they don't save their summer money. Sorry... I like going home to a "non-camper" to do laundry. Very few are well enough off to afford luxuries. ramon P.S. get a college degree and you can aford to go to all the boogies AND buy a home theater system and medical insurance. peace

Your not supposed to practice. You are supposed to be so good when you take the test that you can adjust to some ball you have never jumped before (from Mike Swanson). Bottom line, just keep freeflying, don't worry about the test by the time you think you can pass you probably have the skill (Steve Utter quote) the end result is the same, the things you need to do to pass the test are pretty juch waht you do when you jump with other freefliers and do a lot of close in maneuvers. Don't worry about it worry about being able to do the maneuvers you see on Chronicle 3 and freefly millenium II. Oh, Sean Simon or Thomas Mcdow (Orbit Punks) can jump a ball with you at SDH (they are the only ones good enough to BM and they have AD numbers). They guy Brian Moffet from the gravity rats (San Marcos) will jump one with you also (he has an AD number). Sonic Tom has one also, but he is big time rusty . Ramon PS the really good guys in Sebastian would be glad to answer this question by saying, come down to Sebastian and bring $5,000. At the end of the coach jump money, you might be good enough to take the test .
