I've broken the French record more than 500 times ramon

As far as deal....doubt it, it is an expensive low volume canopy. PD is manufacturing them for brian though because the precision deal feel through, My buddies brand new one came from PD with warning labels and a Samurai label in the same spot as a vengeance. Old jedeis and samurais did not have any labels. ???

The earliest people to leave typically get the biggest packages, especially if it is an early retirement.

Corona painted labels on bottles because they returend them in Mexico for deposti and it was cheaper than gluing paper labels on My Mexican Fav is Negra Modelo, tres Equis is really hard to find and I go to Mexico all the time. ramon

At the DZs I frequent it is typically very experienced (mature ) jumpers on stilletos that are pretty much in their niche and do the same landing every load, they're usually first out because they're on the biggest RW group and their the first ones on the ground because they suck it down and toggle hook at like 150 '. Not my thing either....

The brakes are set deep on purpose for hooking hard or carving on front risers and getting maximum speed without deflecting your tail. This makes it a little more difficult to land until you get a lot of jumps on one. You would never know that the brakes were set deep if you watched my friend Wane jump his 136, if I jumped it you would think somehting was wrong, hahahaha. I take a wrap.. ramon

hmm I think more like Wally. Dilbert would be working on his resume and looking for better jobs and then [alt tab]ing back to his spreadsheet when the boss walks by. ramon

4 were often 1s at first untill forced by location..hahahaha

Four types of beer drinkers. All can be found at a dropzone although it seems like young instructors are number 2s, and freefliers are number 4

How about only 2 or 3 Eric Swoops, and Lets only show Mykel's face 5-8 times instead of 50-60. this is our video not their "look at me video", ha ha ha ha. Actually no body has submitted their footage yet so they had to throw that together. ramon

If you are in a sit (and or don't go head down at all), during a freefly dive , especially a big one it is easier in a sit to see who is below and above you (we're talking bad campfire where everyone does not make it to the base). Do a 360 in a sit to see which direction you will track. Don't go flat (you will cork and not stay with the skydive), do a half cartwheel to slight head down and start your track as a head down or very steep track (purposely go as steep as you can if you are not a head down jumper). this maintains your speed with the group and moves you away from them before you level out into a flat track. If you are facing the direction you want to track (it is clear above and below), You can also do a Half front loop into a steep track. The point of this is you can be killed by someone going flat beneath you (there was a death in Florida). If you have iffy airspace above you you want to maintain a freefly fallrate as you get outta dodge. clearing space on youe level is good, but it is a 3d sport and when you are doing big jumps sometimes people are above you (regardless of whether they are supposed to track off high or what...sometimes they are where they are not supposed to be) fly free ramon

I'm going as soon as I can

Starting to read like a 'me too' thread from the early days of 'usenet'. Someone with fluid mechanics/aerodynamics education arguing with low timers and some not so low timers about canopy flight. pah. I hardly read any of it now. bloo skies ramon

Eric and stevie will be hosting a freefly seminar at Skydive Spaceland on Jan 19th. Come to the seminar and have fun. I'll jump with you too. (free of course...beer apreciated, but not required). ramon

I saw it to it was great. that 360 that dude did above the water and some of the guys chowing and enducing line twists while the canopy is still flying.. good stuff. ramon

that is why RW and FF teams have to watch their videos so many times. the first few each team member is too concerned with what they are doing to pay attention to the team as a whole....look at me. ramon

Can I come?....if I bring beer? I am excellent at videoing all girl lingerie jumps . bloo skies, sweethearts ramon

One day... keep me in mind . Actually , my friend is experimenting with precision, he is sending in an FX104 (he is a big goy) and he is going to have them put the HMA lines trimmed like a xaos on there and see if it improves the canopy (without the other xaos things like stabilirib etc). he has a xaos 89 so he knows how they should fly. If it works I'm sending my fX in for the mod. woo hoo. ramon

There is a safety and training section fro people that need to learn safety

This is a very good newbie exit because if you see the plane then you are maintaining heading not spinning. I recommend doing this exit every time you do a solo head down followed by a careful 90 turn (while head down-ish ) away from the flightline so that if you happen to start a mild or steep track (we all do that while learning) you will not track into the groups ahead or behind you. good luck PS. it is best to really work on the sit and be able to do the following before really concentratiing on HD. 1. 360s left and right 2. front and back loops back to sit keeping heading 3. left and right cartwheels in sit keeping your heading. make sure you do lots of drill dives doing these maneuvers as they will help you a lot later on bloo skies ramon

Forgot to mention stalling the canopy and letting go of one of the toggles is called a stall turn. I would on recommend doing them in a triathlon/omega/spectre type seven cells that recovery quickly and square from such a maneuver. My friend Walt Appel does them all the time. beginestall and let one toggle up
