Puh-lenty of clubs and such for entertainment, along with some awesome museums in the DFW area. The closest turbine DZ is Skydive Dallas, about 45-60 mins away. Super Otter and a Caravan. Great DZ. Summer, well, think GA, but a skosh hotter, but without anywhere near the humidity usually. It's not bad at all. The winters can get really chilly, and snow isn't unheard of. However, when it does get cold, Houston is just a short trip south. And, I'm going to regret telling you this if it scares you off, but DFW is right in the middle of tornado alley. But they're really not much to worry about. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Very fun town. Very modern with lots to do. Close to Dallas and about an hour from Skydive Dallas. Phreezone was just there for 3 weeks for work, so I'm sure he'll be popping into this thread soon. I like the place.

The Xenon series is pretty nice. I still can't believe that PG put their name on the Octane series. They're not even made in the US. The Titanium and Titanium Elite series have always been my favorites from PG. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Yup, old skool PG amps were incredible, as were the old Punch amps. I ran 15" Cerwin's off of one Punch 150 each, and that amp was so underrated it was phenomenal. I also really liked Precision Power's Art series amps, HiFonics, and I especially loved Linear Power. Today though, I'm all about Memphis, Kicker, JL, and Elemental for power and speakers. I'm about to upgrade my system to 2 Elemental NINE.1 amps, running two of their 13ov2's. But here's a thread that shows what's in my system currently.

That's why it's well worth someones time to go through, pull out the entire interior, and lay down dampening material *before* you do the install. My Tiburon was a 4-day project just to lay down liquid deadener, deadening pads, expanding foam, and tightening down all clips and fasteners. But, in the end, my Tiburon was quieter than a friend's Lexus and had zero rattles. *hates ghetto trunk* Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

All that money and you'd think you would have bought something good. I like Quart, I'm running a pair of the Q-series components in my doors right now. Best $700 I've ever spent. I like JL subs, especially the W6v2 series....but why oh why did you ruin them by using a Phoenix Gold and MB Quart amp? At least tell me it's not from PG's new crappy series. MB Quart amps aren't too bad, just hideously overpriced for what you get. I'll take Memphis, Elemental Designs, Kicker, and JL amps any day.

Dammit....I can't remember their real name. They're the cylindrical cookies that have the chocolate spiral along the length. They're about 4" long, 3/4" across, and you usually have them with espresso, cappucino, etc... *banging head against wall trying to remember* You can find them at Cracker Barrel and Targantua (super Target).
