It would be quite to your advantage to wait. It's not just flying the wingsuit. It's the openings. At your number of jumps, you can find yourself in some serious trouble. This is why curency and a good number of jumps (at least 200 current) is important. Hopefully with that number of jumps, you'll have a more stable deployment, and if something happens, you'll be in a much better position to unfuck yourself if things should hit the fan. This is why it pays to wax your car. Several cars in my neighborhood got hit a couple of years ago and my Tiburon got pegged with at least 8, front to back. I was out of town, it was a damn hot July, and didn't see it until 2 days later. It took forever to get it off with washing, but once it was off, I just re-waxed it and there wasn't a trace of it. I usually wax mine every 3-4 weeks.

Yeah, I'm really missing my ability to run Claris Works. I like the Mac, especially the *nix based OS X. But I'm also a big gamer and Virtual PC won't do squat for MS Flight Sim, X-Plane, Doom 3, HalfLife2, Grand Theft Auto or every other major game that isn't available for the Mac. Now, when someone cracks the new version of the X86 revision of OS X so I can run it on my home built AMD 64 system as a triple-boot between my existing Linux and Win XP operating systems, I'll be all over it. I thought last year rocked. While the fun rides are a treat, I personally go for the "family reunion" aspect of it. This is one of the few chances where I get to see so many of my friends in one spot.

Huh? I've never had a problem jumping there when I've visited, always partied like a rock star in the evenings, and Phil has gone out of his way on more than one occasion to make _me_ feel specifically welcome at the DZ during the few times I've been able to visit. I've got no ill will towards Phil & Deb and I'm sure the new owners will be good folk too, from what I've heard.

Actually, that's taken out of context. Human beings utilize every single neuron, axon, and ganglion in our noggins. We just don't need to use them all at once. For any given task, we only need to access ~ 8-15%, IIRC. As an example, if you're smelling flowers, you don't need to fire up the portion required to do complex math, etc...
