The rings. All are Titanium, by Bruce Boone, and Missy's engagement ring is a Titanium recreation of a Gelin & Abaci design. It's a .5CT round diamond in a tension setting. My ring is a recreation of the wedding ring worn by Ed Harris in The Abyss. Yup, I'm a geek. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

So, there I was... No kidding, thought I was going to die! Oh, wait, wrong story, but this one has a happy ending.

CanuckInUSA didn't attack the person, just the idea. You can attack an idea or opinion, not a poster. That's where the line is. Chuteless crossed it, Canuck didn't. Thanks for playing. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Duuuuude. You could do so much better by also going down to the flea market and picking up some fairy dust to throw on that ticket. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

While it's a laudable goal, and I fully support it, it's not going to happen. You just can't rule out random chance. Whether it was the horsehoe caused by a main flap snagging on lines in Dallas recently, or someone being killed by a hard opening. You can do everything right and still die. But, if these were the only types of incidents that I read about from here on out, instead of low turns, loss of altitude awareness, collisions, etc... I'd be a much happier guy. Do a search on Amazon.com and read the reviews there. Apparently, it seems to suffer from low volume (the reason I got rid of my Motorole MPx200) and is quite fragile. But lots of people still seem to like it. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

I don't know about the legality of it, but if you're on the list, maybe you should take a big step back and look at why... I've been known to place a bet on bounce bingo (if I'd picked that a certain DGIT was going to compound break his right femur instead of the left I would have won once!), but usually we just fill out their incident report beforehand and show it to them if they just won't listen to reason. All that's left is to fill in the details and sign it. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Dammit. Egon was a class act, and he really went out of his way to help me a couple of years ago when I had a cutaway. When I landed, he was already off looking for my freebag, and I don't even jump a Vector. He also insisted on hand-delivering my damaged Stiletto to PD since he was on his way back to Florida after the boogie. Thanks, Egon, for being an all-around great guy.

Real mature. If you wanted to discuss it, you could have started a thread instead of being deceptive. You do realize the rules about trolling, right? Oh, and your credibility is now shot to hell, too. Real mature of ya'. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Should women be mentally stable before getting married?

Nah. I'm thinking a tension setting, custom worked in titanium for 1/4th the cost of that platinum setting, and a stone from somewhere like Blue Nile or Whiteflash online. I went to a brick & mortar store once to compare diamonds and they were all charging at least 1/3 - 1/2 more over what I could get online, and the online stones I could get with GIA certification. You can get a much nicer quality rock online if ya' do a bit of research. -
Should women be financially stable before getting married?

No kidding. I support a mandatory waiting period on matrimony until both parties are at least 25. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™ -

It very well could be. I'm not telling yet. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™ -

It's a tension setting, and the diamond "popping out" isn't that likely. It holds the diamond with 90 pounds of force. You should use a VS2 stone or better so you don't risk it fracturing from the pressure degrading a pre-existing flaw in the stone. It's as safe, if not safer than a traditional 4-prong setting. No kidding. This is a setting I was looking at, at one time. In platinum, it's $2650, not including the diamond! Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™ -

Nah, titanium is soooo much cooler. Platinum is nice, titanium looks like Platinum with a storm captured inside. -
