I feel your pain, Brian. Trust me. We just happen to drink a lot of soda that happens to taste a lot like Shiner Bock whenever I am at Hinton. It's really weird how much soda tastes like that when you have it in a plain styrofoam cup. BTW, we have a door on the 205 now and it climbs like a fiend! Kris

Agreed on Skydive Dallas. Jon McCollum there is the only one I have pack my Mirage now. Lee Hardesty is really good too and he saved my ass with some excellent rigging work at WFFC 2000. I believe he's the same Lee that runs Leading Edge, the companiy that makes containers for BASE. As for how Skydive Dallas is as a DZ, it's pretty nice. Agreed! A 500 foot track is nowhere near long enough. I have a minimum breakoff of 4500 for a 3-4 way freefly and 5000 for a 4-8 way freefly. Is that extra few seconds of freefall really worth the potential trouble caused by poor separation? I don't think so. Stay safe, Jraf. What would be the best way to approach a headown position?

The cartwheel move is the best way to do it because it allows you to keep a visual reference of the other people on your dive. If you do a flip to enable the transition you will lose sight of the person(s) in front of you. Kris Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™ -

When FrankenOtter was assembled from various donor aircraft, EVERY single piece not needed for skydiving, airworthyness, safety, or structual integrity was ripped out and thrown away to bring the weight down. What you had left was FrankenOtter. Several paint schemes, very powerful engines, and one airframe that had been made really light. My Mirage PC & bag allowed me to use a Lark's head knot with no problems. Also, if you're seeing nicks on the metal, make sure you get that grommet checked before doing anything else.
