I had an extra one of those orange plastic knives and I decided to relegate it to field use. The first time I used it was on a cold january day to cut some material. The popular compression codecs used for AVI (and other types) aren't "lossless". You always lose a bit of data. The more times you run a compression codec on a piece of video the more distorted it will become. It's best to keep a master non-compressed copy of the file on disk drive or DVD-R and use that for any editing tweaks. Kris Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Out of all the rear-wheel drive cars I've had I would much rather have front-wheel drive when it comes to dealing with snow & ice. Usually, me and my front-wheel drive car are the one passing the ones who are stuck or just spinning their tires. It's also really nice to have when the back end starts to slip a little. I just give it a little gas and she straightens right out. Kris

I only got in a few the weekend before last because of it and I wasn't able to jump the past weekend because I was sick. Look at it this way, when you get to jump next weekend, you'll just be that much more appreciative.

I have to second "Ghost World". It is really one of Steve Buscemi's better films. It was worthy of being added to my DVD collection. Also, check out "SLC Punk" which is another great indy flick. Kris
