Long and lean over short and stout, but that's so minor in comparison to his personality. I like a man whom I can laugh with. I love a guy who gets my really dry and often dark sense of humor....and if he has the same it's GREAT! I really like shoulders. It's nice to see that your daughter makes such good decisions for herself and about her future at her age. You've obviously done a great job as her mom so far. Depending upon her/your ability to pay for her education, losing a scholarship could be devastating. Skydiving will still be here when she's out of school. Amazing how quickly those years go by too. There have been times when I *knew* that I could NOT afford a broken ankle. I didn't jump at those times either. I totally get where y'all are coming from. What fun it'll be in a few years though.... Most people don't have any problems with water either, but too much of it can kill you. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant and is definately protective. Studies have not been conclusive as to the effects of supplemental Vit E, but in moderate doses we tend to think that it is probably helpful for some things--especially cardiovascular health and cancer. Few people are vitamin E deficient. linz See, this is where it gets sticky...I was on a medication that my doctor required me to stay on 800 IU of Vitamin E. I experienced no adverse effects and took 400 IU after treatment, of course I was still being monitored by a doctor...but still...Most people don't have any problems with Vitamin E 400 IU or below, but of course just like anything else you take, that could vary from person to person. The dosages that have people worried are waaaaaaaay above 400 IU...You probably don't have anything to worry about...... ~R+R

It's not that you need a day to show how much you love each other.... Do you need birthday parties, Christmas, St. Patricks, or Groundhog Day???? It's FUN! A very special friend and I are going to dinner the Rep (theatre) to celebrate his birthday and Valentine's day. Having been in such a horrific marriage for so many years, I'm REALLY looking forward to celebrating with something fun.... I read The Three Musketeers and a couple other novels in French years ago. Now all I can say in French is "green beans" and a few phrases that stuck in my psyche. I lived in German House in college, where we only spoke German. I remember more German than French, but 15 years later, my German's pretty rough. At the time, I was pretty fluent though.... Or perhaps on a continuum his views are a LOT more extreme than that.... He may have worded his argument a litle strongly, but for the most part, he's saying that the antipathy directed at the US is the result of it's disasterous foreign policy decisions, and as a democratic republic, the population partly shares the blame for the government's actions. How anyone could lay eyes on one of those kids and not know there was a problem is inconceivable, and I don't understand how any person's need to not get involved could reach this far. Once I was involved in a child abuse case that was not *this* bad, but was pretty close. I was very impressed with how another person who got suspicious went to the house and DEMANDED to see the child, and then went into the house and took him. I doubt that humans are *meant* to have one sexual partner for life. If so, I think more of us would be monogamous for life. Doesn't usually happen that way. Then there's the issue of men, and their ability to make babies pretty much until they die (or can't get it up anymore). Women aren't naturally capable of producing offspring after (on average) about age 50. The upper GI can refer to Barium swallow, but in your case, I bet you'll be getting an EGD, which is an endoscopic procedure. They'll look with a scope at your esophagus, stomach, and duodenum. They'll be able to see if there is inflammation, anatomic problems (stricture, hiatal hernia), or ulcerations. Also, they'll be able to take small samples of the lining. They'll see if you have H. Pylori...the bacteria that causes most ulcers of the duodenum....though may people have H. Pylori without ulceration... The procedure is short, and a little uncomfortable but not all that bad....
