I know this sounds pretty lame. I was really excited when I first decided to go, but now I'm having second thoughts. I'm very shy (always have been) and although I am looking forward to meeting everyone I am getting really nervous. The thought of going to a DZ I've never been to and meeting new people is pretty scarey to me. I've done it before (Eloy Hoiliday Boogie last year) and ended up meeting lots of awesome people and having a great time. But I still can't help being nervous/scared. I'm not going to not go. I will be there. But just a heads up, if you meet me and I don't say more than a couple words, it's not that I don't like you, it's just that I'm somewhat socially challenged. Jef, you're gonna scare people away . Disregard Jef, he's just a good friend. I really would love to have someone to drive with. No strings attached, just company. If I don't find anyone to drive with I guess I'll just have a boring drive by myself, but lots of fun once I get there

That's so awesome! I couldn't ever do it since I'm deathly afraid of needles (having my ears pierced one hole each was an ordeal). But I think that's great that you can do it if you want to. More power to you

I think skydiving dreams are pretty common for skydivers. I dream about skydiveing all the time. And I never bounce, no matter how low I open or even if I don't open I always have perfect landings in my dreams. The dream I have a lot, and I think it's because I fly the tunnel a lot, is that I'm in the middle of a dream, unrelated to skydiving, but then I pick up the wind and start flying around, and wonder why no one else is flying . So sorry for your loss. My thoughts are prayers are with you. Like you said, let others know how you feel since you never know how long you'll have them. Be comforted that you said the things you needed to say while you could. Hope others follow your example.

Skydiving has definitely enriched my life. I love having something that I am passionate about in my life. Sure, I have other things I'm passionate about, like my family and friends, but my life is more complete with skydiving and all the great friends I've made as a result of skydiving. I have put skydiving more in perspective (don't forego events with family and friends to skydive like I used to), but it is still my favorite way to spend a day
