There was an article by Jack Jefferies entitled "flying your slot" where he explained in detail what is required for flying each slot. Really great article. I would love to find this and send it to my teammates, but I can't find it. Please help me find this article or let me know how to get in touch with Jack Jefferies so I can ask him to e-mail it to me. I think it was written back in 2002. Thanks! well if it's any consolation, i'm 25 and if i saw ya on myspace i wouldn't freak, the only reason i would freak if i say my 51 year old parents on there is becasue my mom can barely turn on the computer let alone set up myspace.... does it freak her out that you go to a web site where the main topicsome times is sex?...lol... i know my mom would freak out if she knew all what we discussed here on dz.com..lol... LOL. That is so funny and you are so right. There is probably way more sex discussed on dz.com than on my space....but then my family doesn't read the dz.com threads Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

Well Tammie, you'd be so happy to hear that I finally did it!...my first wingsuit jump this weekend at Zhills and I won't lie, it scared the freakin SHIT out of me. I had a nice lil head down exit in a straight jacket. I'm a freeflyer but not used to being all tied up Actually it was fine and I'm trying to decide between a BM GTi and the Prodigy. Need to make more jumps to figure that out. I bought beer for the Wingsuits at the end of the day Sunday in appreciation for their encouragement and support. Katee, that is awesome! I'm planning to demo a wingsuit for the first time at the Eloy boogie. Which one did you jump? Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

:6: First day of training jumps with my new team. First jump was the first time we'd all flown together, and it was awesome. Somehow it went downhill from there . But was still tons of fun, and we will improve

Hey sweetie, I love you and will support you with most things, but I cannot get onto my space. My 23 year old daughter is on it and she would just die if her 50 year old mom got on it . You are much younger than me, 34 is not too old for my space, but unfortunately I think 50 is . But for you and what you are using it for is great. I think it will be a good resource for you. We have been deep frying our turkeys for years, since the first year it became popular. First time we did it was at the beach camping. We attracted quite a crowd of other campers watching the turkey fry thing. We ended up with a huge crowd and gave out samples to everyone. Luckily we had a second turkey to cook .

You know, if you're talking about Christian theology, its not about "how good of a person you are." Its about accepting God's grace. Paul talks about this extensively. Yes, I have accepted God's grace, but I still worry that I did something to screw it up. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

Wow JP, that is awesome that you are totally ready. I feel that I'm a good person and have lived a good life but I still am really nervous about the Rapture. I wonder, what if I didn't live a good enough life and have to watch all my friends ascend into heaven while I'm on the ground saying "wait, what about me?" No way you can roast a 20 lb. turkey in 2 hours. Although someone mentioned deep frying, a 20 lb. turkey won't fit in most deep fryers. Maybe you could microwave it for a while and then finish it in the oven. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

I'm thankful for family and friends, that I have a job I love, that I have a car I love (corvette), that I have a passion I love (duh, skydiving), that I am able to make time for everything that I love. Life is good and I'm very thankful

Seems like the only time I make/eat yams is at Thanksgiving. Except my dad made this recipe a couple weeks ago and it was really good. I'm making it for Thanksgiving. Praline Yams 40 oz. can Princella cut yams, drained 1/2 cup chopped pecans 1/2 cup coconut 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1/4 cup flour 1/4 cup margarine or butter, melted Heat oven to 350. Place drained yams in ungreased 2 quart casserole or baking dish. In small bowl combine remaining ingredients, blend well. Sprinkle over yams. Bake for 30 - 40 minutes or until bubbly. Serves 10. We used to go to my parents house for Thanksgiving, but last year when I called my mom to see if she wanted us to bring the turkey fryer and do a deep fried turkey like we did the year before she kind of hesitated and said she wasn't sure what they were doing and that my neice had mentioned she wanted to do Thanksgiving this year, and she'd get back to me. When she called me back she said my neice was doing Thanksgiving, but that she didn't have room for everyone. I said no problem, I understand, but it was kind of a slap in the face. I personally would never exclude family members from a holiday dinner just because I didn't have enough dining room chairs or dishes. There's always paper plates and borrowing folding chairs. Anyway, now we go to a friends house. Actually nice cuz we don't have to make the drive from L.A. to San Diego and I can sleep in, prepare the food I'm bringing and still have time for a pre-dinner jog around the Rose Bowl. Happy Thanksgiving everyone

That's awesome! I'm training for the L.A. Marathon but I only run a 10 minute mile right now. Will get better with training, but I don't even care about my time or if I run the whole time, just want to finish. I can't imagine ever having your time. I'm impressed! I come to San Diego once a month to visit my parents. I'd love to hook up with you to run. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

Thanks for your encouragement. And don't ever think that you can't do it because you could. Just a little step at a time. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

Have you done it? I'm thinking of doing the 2006 LA Marathon. Am going to attend a workshop tomorrow on how to get started. I love to run but the most I ever do is 5 miles. So anyone interested? Maybe we could get together a dz.com group to run the Marathon. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller
