  1. I'm saying I think it's odd behavior by someone who's house has been broken into. Obviously you don't.
  2. Is this about climate change? lol
  3. Odd behavior from someone who's home has been broken into.
  4. See this is what the jugheads get up in arms about. Question anything and be met with a barrage of snarkiness. I said I hope we see that video some day. I never said I had a right to it. One thing I've learned over the years (and from raising children)...the more detailed the explanation the more chance there is that it's bullshit.
  5. Recording systems? Is that the case here? The monitors in Epstein's cell don't record?
  6. I wasn't aware video recorders are understaffed and overworked.
  7. My point is the lack of video recording. I think there's a strong possibility Epstein was "suicided" by an individual or individuals he could hurt the most. Some pretty powerful folks making the flights. History is loaded with the extreme steps those in power will take to remain in power. Pelosi's home is recorded by Capital Police. If there is video of a break-in it ought to be easy enough to see. The internet is lousy with that type of video. A simple clip of the perp smashing the windows is all it would take. I would really love to see that video. Perhaps we never will but it might go a long way towards shutting down some of the useful idiots.
  8. Not saying it was faked. I am saying there is possibly more to the story than will be revealed.
  9. I see posts I agree with and ones I don't. Said it before...the forums have moved me more towards the center. Kinda like throwing a suitcase off the Queen Mary, but there it is.
  10. Anyone think it's odd that we haven't seen video of the break-in? The conspiracy theorist in me can't help but consider the possibility. Maybe we'll see it in the future but I'm wondering how we can get video of so many things so quickly today and not see this or Epstein. Take a look at the screengrab. I always thought the glass should be inside. Looks like quite a bit on the outside but I'm not CSI.
  11. It will be a problem as long as both sides are living in an echo chamber of their own beliefs...kinda like this forum. I have a friend whose political beliefs are pretty much the polar opposite of mine. I still enjoy his company but when words like "plandemic" and "election fraud" fly out of his mouth I tell him we are old friends and I won't get involved in talking about that stuff. It's difficult not to get into a debate in person...much easier online.
  12. Good point but I think a 23 Trillion dollar deficit will be our undoing long before we run out of fossil fuels.
  13. Spending the week in Palo Alto. I have a hard time understanding how gas prices can be $3 more than at home in Ohio
  14. I guess you'd have to ask Bill Gates
  15. A little arrogant to think that statement applied to just you. The world will never build enough wind and solar to replace coal and gas fired power plants. Happy now?
  16. Quit being obtuse. You know what I'm saying. Your home probably has a concrete foundation and maybe a steel beam. I know you generate your own power. Until you generate your own concrete and steel you are not 100% self reliant.
  17. You live in a mud hut? I'm assuming your home has a foundation...maybe a steel beam holding up the first floor.
  18. So you're making concrete and steel at your home? Excellent.
  19. For me it's much more realist v. political. I'm old enough to remember all of the cause de celebre that turned out to be bullshit. Maybe I'm just a cynical old fuck. I'm sure Van Gogh wouldn't have minded a little soup for the cause.
  20. You asked me for my conclusion. So my conclusion is we're getting fleeced by a subset of the scientific community whose motivation is more dollars for continued research.
  21. Here’s a breakdown of all the human activities that produce greenhouse gases. Getting to zero means zeroing out every one of these categories: Making things (cement, steel, plastic) 31% Plugging in (electricity) 27% Growing things (plants, animals) 19% Getting around (planes, trucks, cargo ships) 16% Keeping warm and cool (heating, cooling, refrigeration) 7% -Bill Gates Good luck with that.
  22. I've already said I'm not a scientist. You keep trying to make this about the science. I'm talking about the dollars. Try and keep up.
  23. Funny when someone shits on the cost of things you all consider green the response is always "it will get better". You'll never build enough wind and solar to replace coal and gas fired power plants.
