Pretty sure the courts would order a D&C. The bigger question here is whether a 10yo needing an abortion shouldn't trigger some type of response from LE.

Negligent parents abound. Maybe if we stopped paying them to have kids... The responsibility falls directly to the parent.

Please. If the mother (who knew about the abuse) had reported the rape to the authorities the child would have seen a doctor and a D & C would have been ordered. As I get older I know I look back with some blinders but this quote sounds like some sort of kumbaya chant. You think it was just the conservatives? I think some of you are wearing blinders as well. You have this idealistic viewpoint that perfection is within our grasp and the liberals and the government can make that happen. Sorry to disappoint you. I have a client, an Asian gentleman. His online cover is calling himself John Chapman. He's afraid to let people know his ethnicity for fear of discrimination. I see people online who say shit they would never say in person. I see people who love to flaunt their affluent lifestyle online. It makes those who have less restless, angry, and jealous. No...it was better before.

French. I was part of a program called the Experiment in International Living. Lived in Guadeloupe for a time as part of my high school classes. I was fairly fluent. Now it's only the most rudimentary of sentences.

True. I'm sure everyone has different results. She has been the helicopter parent from the beginning. One would think that by age 7 it would be working better than it is but I think it's a combo of spoiled (it's partly our fault...he has 4 sets of grandparents) and a course of action that is ineffective at best. I'm not sure what consequences he endures as a result of his actions. He's only allowed to watch a limited amount of TV...no access to phones/ipad/computers.

I don't know where the line is drawn between discipline and outright beating. I don't think I ever beat my kids. A well time thunder hand to the backside to make sure they got the message. And I don't think the message was don't piss me off but even if it was, it was don't do rude and disrepectful or you'll piss of dad.

I just spent the 4th with an extremely disrespectful, spoiled 7 year old grandson. Had it been my kid he would have had his butt warmed on several occasions. I understand that spanking is politically incorrect. Interested to hear everyone's thoughts.

I don't think any of them did. I'm not pointing fingers at D's. The whole lot of them are blood sucking carpetbaggers. Congress could take a decade off and I don't think we'd be any worse off, and in fact might be better for it.
