Sorry Bill, and believe me I know I need to tread lightly here, but I have a problem with you're explanation. Every example you gave applies to all sorts of folks, from all economic and social backgrounds. The tax code deals with them equally, regardless of race. No one is asking anyone to be more white. Now, does the tax code need re-worked? Absolutely. I agree with John when he says it's tilted towards the rich, the majority of whom are not black. But I think it's an issue of money, not race.

I don't believe the tax code is fair to many people based on income and assets. As far as I can tell she points out some valid things that could be changed but none of it is specifically targeted at a race. It just struck me as odd.

Object lesson in echo chamber media. I like to watch YouTube. Yesterday I happened to watch a short one with Jim Jordan grilling the twitter twits. I enjoy Jim's antics but also know he's playing to the crowd. Shortly thereafter my feed was filled with right wing offerings. The little snippet reels were all right wing. Unless I go into settings and clear the history they kept coming. I'm planning on trying it in reverse by finding something that would be considered "left" and see if the same thing happens. Bottom line for me; I'm so tired of being pandered to by AI. Unless you're pro active you'll get what they think you want. Fuck me.

Didn't watch it. I'm trying to avoid the propaganda. I did read about MGT's outburst. Not the first time that's ever happened. At least no one shredded any paper or called someone a liar. Also, I saw an edited video online where it appeared Biden said "Capitalism is exploitation." The fanatics jumped all over it until someone pointed out what was actually said.

Once again you miss the point of my post. If the parent company of these films says they aren't ok they should put their money where their mouth is.

I don't think anything about these films is dangerous. Obviously Disney has a different opinion. My point is if a corporation wants to earn bonus points by virtue signaling perhaps they should walk the walk.
