I saw the site but many questions are in Dutch language. I do understand it a bit and they look inetersting. Will you be able (willing) to translate and post them here? Femke If I have a little bit of time I will translate my questions and the answers ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

I added some topic to my list. On a dutch forum (paraforum.nl) vigil will answer the questions put over there. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

Very strange, almost all wars and violance in the world can be related to the islamic terrorists. Even stranger, some people still concider this as a coincidence. According to me, we have been (europe) to soft for this idiots. We should have addopted the swiss imigrant politics long time ago. But holland will strike back! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

Paratec is a german company. In europe you go for your national tandemlicence and after that you can jump all gears allowed in that country. With my dutch licence I can jump: Vector2 & Sigma, Next, Omega, Atom and even Strong. Without crosstraining. It is considered the TM responsibility to get instruction with the rig. In Germany it is more or less the same. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

My experience is that when you ask cypres a technical question you get a technical answer. If I ask vigil a technical question, I get back a commercial answer or a fuzy statement. My personal opinion: Buy a cypres, the company has much more experience with AAD's! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

Dacron lines are thicker, this means more aerodynamic drag (resistance), less forward speed and because of that less Flare. More bulky to pack. Other lines will also have impact on the opening and flight behaviour. Please ask PD whether this is a good idea. Bad flare may also be caused by "out-of trim'" a new lineset (same type) might also improve your flare. My stiletto flew like new after a re-line ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

The TM his bodyposition, he has to react on the position of the passenger. Arching to solve the problem won't always work. For a TM the video you mention shows a lot more For the details: make a lot of jumps and become a TM yourself.

Yes in certain conditions. If this happens there are a lot of flames! Proper subject should be: Are you bored? OR Are you busy at work? ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

I always try to fly a canopy a couple of times before I buy one. Always take a solojump with higher opening to try this. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

Having a cypres fire means you failed to open a parachute yourself. You missed the most important issue of the sport Altitude awareness. Only an electronic device (some kind of skydiver airbag) prevented an accident. This is a very good reason to reconcider your continuation in the sport. A cypres opening is something else than falling from a horse (which will not happen to me because I hate horses) A vigil opening will not happen to me because I do not jump this device ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

Agree there is controlled dock and spin (I will not allow you to do it) and the uncontrolled spin due to passenger body position. Do not try to catch such a tandem it's not an AFF-student ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

No, never tested my cypres. Otherwise I would have grounded myself forever!! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

Tandem Cutaway Story and a question
skydiverton replied to turtlespeed's topic in Photography and Video
Vertical separation is NO separation. You do not have to wait till the canopy is completely open. When it snivels for a couple of seconds you can turn over of backtrack a distance. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig -
More important is the question whether you are ready for it. Videoing a tandem is like a tandemjump itself not just another jump. Remember: The only objective of a tandempassenger is to kill the tandemmaster. The only purpose of the droque is to catch videomen. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

Need advice: I need a wide angle lens (about .5) for 30mm thread. Most important issue: The lens shall not be succeptible to fogging during freefall (moisture on lens) I jump in a very moisty climate with a large temperature difference (About 0degC at 4000m while 20deg C onthe ground) Which barnd lens can be used best ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

NEVER EVER TRY TO INTERFERE WITH A SPINNING TANDEM. There is way to much momentum in the spin. You might need your cypres if you get hit by a leg. Also there is always the possibility of the tandemmaster deciding to open the main to stop the spin ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

Tandem cypres activation because of altitude awareness or incorrect handle sequence: No tandemjumping (loss of licence!) untill re-examination. In this case it is up to the TM to find an examinor to do evaluation jumps with. I'm sure you need a very good story to convince an examinor. his rating should be pulled.....permanently Also a good solution! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

Kim. I love the candidness and the fact that you and 4XTTTOM are involved in this thread and providing the facts to those that are unwilling to follow the proper channels to get the answers for themselves. I love my vigil... and can't wait to replace the cypress in my second rig with another vigil. Good for you. I like my cypres. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig
