Hey this discussion is not funny any more. Alcohol is the solution for all my problems. A bottle of beer is my best friend I have a drinking problem because I have 2 hands and only one mouth. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

I was assuming it's a misprint in their website.... Anybody know what the "swooping mode" actually is? _Am

Ok thanks for the info. So the conclusion is both Cypress (1&2) and vigil have the same limitations on WS jumps. They will function in case of a problem

Maybe if you are flying perfect till the end your AAD will not fire. But when do you need an AAD? If you simply forget your altitude or when you have a problem with your suit or had a collision with a fellow birdman. Quess what will be your freefall speed in such a situation. I think is is very very close to normal terminal. Perhaps Kim can explain why a vigil is good for wingsuit and a cypress is not? Personaly I think they both have the same limitation. Saskia, by the way: One wingsuit jump made, 2 jumps logged. Where does the second jump come from? ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

For what I've seen in france. Most french AFF instructors (PAC-moniteur) have performed several years in the french RW4 or 8 team. French instructor licence is the hardest to get in europe. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

Personnaly, I have the opinion. When I have pulled at least one droquerelease I will breakaway first. Inflated droque or not. I do not like the risk of a 2 out situation. Only if you have not pulled a droquereleased (double hardpull on the droquereleases) I will only pull the reserve. tandemreserves have been designed for tandemterminal openings! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

??????? You do not breakaway after you have pulled the droque-release??? Personally I have a different opinion ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

According to my info PdF has never has an issue with the reversed risers. Note: if you have risers with buttons on the toggles do not pull the toggles down to release this will damage the plastic part of the button. Instead give a pull to the back to release the toggles. Ask instruction in folding the BT40. Folded incorrect will result in a big bang opening If you want to replace the main canopy in the future. A stiletto 135 will fit the rig very wel. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

The Oldest Tandem Student I Have Jumped Was . . .
skydiverton replied to slotperfect's topic in Instructors
Jumped a WW2 veteran into the market garden memorial out of a DC3. In 1944 the guy was 20. Jumping a military round with germans shooting at him, so why would he be afraid for this jump ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig -
I would not recommend putting something around a pin or pilot. Just put the rig in a good gearbag and lock the zipper with a pull-up cord (good knot) Always worked for me. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

Or spend less on production and inventory costs (don't need to make three different Cypres types); don't need to do market research to figure out how many of each type to make, just how many to make overall. Mark If those 3 cypres types are 95% the same this problem is not that big. You will end up with several configurations anyway, because of specific customer requirements (military) or simply because of the unavailability of components ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

Reasoning for getting rid of Cypres flawed?
skydiverton replied to Hazarrd's topic in Safety and Training
You will not save anything. The value of your cypres depends on the lifetime left on the unit and the lifetime of the battery and the maintenance. A 4 year old cypres has more value with mainenance than without. The difference is the maintenance cost. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig
