A premature deployment at 2,500ft (as reported) is a hazard to other jumpers too. I don't know how you skydive, but if I am above someone who is at 2,500ft, I would not only expect them to deploy, but hope so. If I hit their deploying canopy, it would be my fault, even this was on a WR bigway. 2-out means reduced manouverability. Reduced manouverability is an extra hazard factor (extra point of attention for other jumpers). To my opinion not a large factor, but it is a factor! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

Wake up. For each chick you are allowed to jump with, you get 50 pigs at least!! Even worse. The nice chick are generally the passengers causing problems on exit of freefall, not miss/mister piggy. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

I would suggest to do an inspection by a certified rigger (for example US or european rigger) or send the rig to the manufacturer for inspection. If you life in romania (europe) you can consider a Next of Omega rig if you want new material (Out of these tho I think the Next is more durable) Although the $ is historic low. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

A phrase from the most famous dutch soccer coach: Each disadvantage also has an advantage. I think at the moment you can read this the other way around. By the way I already warned for this "rabit in the hat" as early as begin of 2004. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

Relax, I have not asked a single question yet. Ok one question: Can you tell more about the multe-sensor and Redundant architecture concept which, if handled correct increased reliability. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

Quote Maybe it had something to do with the EZ's though, can't remember seeing a video of a lineover slide off recently, on the Sigma or Icarus chutes, but there were some chops for line-overs though. Quote Might be a line-over. They sometimes clear during opening. It's also possible it was a extreme unsymmetric opening Hey, a tandemcanopy has a lot more fabric that can cause troubles than a sportcanopy What type of canopy is it. I have to agree EZ's produce quite some line-over's (when packed bad??) That is one of the reasons I like the BT80 tandemcanopy, far less malfunctions ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

It might be useless if you find it after 2 weeks in the sun or rain. If you find it immediate I'll even pay $30 for it. Including the risers, bag and pilot of course, because they are useless too ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

My experience is that the toggle pressure on a 6-grommet tandem canopy (EZ) is a little lower because the bulky tandem-steeringlines can run smoother (less friction) Although you can also consider a tandemcanopy with a lower togglepressure like the Icarus, Sigma of BT80 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

Give it another try. In a 55 you can easily do 100 You can also see a speeding ticket as some kind of certificate, only if it at least indicated 120mph or 200km/h Did your ticket include a free photo??

I fixed it myself (I'm a mechanical engineer) The 2 flanges connecting the 2 parts were corroded-away. Just cut off the remaining of the flanges and installed a sleeve with 2 clamps In tyhe netherlands they do not sell these items from a spare-part manufacturer (bosal, walker). Found an adress in germany (30minutes drive) that delivers these spare part for 420euro. (sounds more reasonable) Note this is not the car sold as sigma in the US! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

Garage called me2 days ago. Exhaust system middle and rear section have to be replaced They want to have 1200EURO for it, because it is a japanese car and this model has not been sold much. Mitsubishi Sigma 1995 3.0 V6 I decided not to repair it and give it a try myself A small study from me learned I could solve this problem with a standard mounting sleeve cost 15euro (and 3 hours work) Only the connection flanges were broke. I have cut these flanges of and installed the sleeve.

Personnaly I liked the tandem-terminal dive. Did one as passenger (with another candidate) and one as a TM for my license with one lift pause. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

Usually the xx jump requirement is already an indication of the stupidity level. If you are really stupid, you will probably not manage to make at least 500 or 1000jumps. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

Sending your cypres through the x-ray at the airport
skydiverton replied to LearningTOfly's topic in Gear and Rigging
No problem at all. The following items are more complex/sensitive from a technical view and do not have problems: - DV-videocamera's - (Digital) photocameras - Laptops - Modern cell-phones - Organisers My unit has been screened a couple of times without any problem. My experience is do not show the cypres card unless the guard really asks what it is. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig -
Yes, why not. Did some while I was in training for TM myself (The examiner told me I 'm the perfect passenger size) Of course only if I trust the TM that needs qualification. (I do not jump with videomen I do not trust either) ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

With one old cypres battery and a couple of 3V led's I made a nice altimeter iluminator for nightjumps. (I got the old bateries for free. No more lightsticks that malfunction of a torch that blinds my RW mates on the nightdives. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

Sorry, but I did not write you HAVE to test, there are other means to prove your compliance. Just another little question. Your manual recommends to switch off the unit while riding the plane back down. Did you ever try that while doing a tandem that refused to jump (In some airplanes this means I keep my passenger hooked-up) I do not think the Vigil is a bad product, but if I have to choose which one to buy I have my personal preferance ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig
