  1. Yes If some idiot with a yellow panel does something wrong blame me! You are welcome. I do not consider fighting soccer fans as a problem. A time ago I propossed to make them the main attraction in the stadium. Like the roman gladiators Please do not ask me the intelligence level of the people making problems with the germans (or the french). They can come up with an argument other than I want my bike back (At the end of WW2 the germans took all the bikes from the dutch to go back to germany) Personally I liked Beatrix' father more (Prins Bernard, also german) which died a short while ago. He is the only one in holland who asked me to come over and jump into his garden on his birthday. 2. So the question stays: How did AAD prove their claim about the improved static-shielding. Apperantly not by test. Perhaps by analyses or similarity?? ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig
  3. In my european country the nazi symbols are not banned, but If you wear one you run into trouble, because the cops will find something to give you a ticket. I do not think you are allowed to enter a bar wearing one. Each year we still celebrate our liberation. Good point from a skydiver point of view is all the exibition jumps. I once even made a tandemexibition jump with a real WW2 vetaran as passenger out of a DC3 (in the band of brothers colours, came just of the set) Exibition jumps with a tandem are not forbidden in the Netherlands. Of course the Nazi's did a lot af horrible things to the people of their own country and other countries, but... They prevented communism to spread over western europe I love my 14year old Volkswagen 250.000km never broke down and really cheap to drive. Who started to built the nice autobahn's in germany on which we can drive as fast as we want (I also own a Mitsubishi Sigma 3.0 V6) (Sorry for the US, both VW and Mitsibushi made a lot of money during WW2. Not at the allied side) For all the german readers, Yes I'm dutch (Ich bin ein kaaskop) Yes, I have a yellow licence plate No, I never made an accident on the autobahn Yes, I always hope germany wins in soccer games (I hate soccer and the orange shit) No I do not hate germans. I made much more skydives in germany last year, because I life 30km from the border (between venlo and eindhoven) Greetings to all ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig
  4. The tanker deal is supposed to be back in the works, and the reason Boeing is #2 behind Airbus is because Airbus has the EU subsidizing their every move. Airbus says they can do all the future design work on their own, so why won't the EU let them. The US had to take it to the WTO before the EU would even talk about settling. The us does the same for boeing, highly payed military contracts, "forget to send tax-bill" etc. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig
  5. The text above indicates they re-tested the static-electricity issue. That should be enough. When you change something to improve static electricity you have to verify that test. It is useles to do droptest again. In aerospace industry in general there are several ways to prove your equipment is good for flight (skydive): 1) By similarity/experience. (A company making parachutes for years knows how to attach lines to fabric) 2) By analysis (Simple cases may be calculated. For example airpressure on an airplane wing) 3) By test (Take the equipment and test it upto the level required) Of course the first option is the cheapest (in general) but it is not always possible. In general. It is up to the certifying organisation what they want as evidence. In skydiving these (national) organisations are mostly accepting the evidence from the supplier as presented. Very few organisations do additional test/ research. From my head I know only the german and swedisch organisation do additional research themselves, and yes these organisations can put limits on the use or even ground it. It might be harder to convince these organisations, because they look more in detail (that is their job). I'm not a certification buro or a rigger, but I've asked some questions in the past which have not been answered. Note: Vigil changed the website frontpage from: Guardian angels don't need maintenance! To: Guardian angels don't need scheduled maintenance! Does that mean you rely on mainenance on condition, or You switch on your vigil in the morning and it refuses to switch on because of a out-of-tolerance. greetings Ton ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

  8. Then if you consider yourself a Liberal, you identify with option A in the poll, yes? 100% correct. I'm getting sick and tired because off other people telling me how to spend my money or even worse: Steal my money (tax) and use it for purposes I will never support! Let me decide how to spend my own money ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

  11. What you describe here has more to do with socialism than liberalism. Pure liberalism does not agree with government intervention in economy and forcing people to pay tax for social financial aid. This social aid will be financed with money people volunterely donate. Also the government shall not interfere in free-trade between people. I know pure liberalism can hardly be found in this world. In the US if you are liberal you are a lefty. In europe you are considered right wing. Liberalism in neither left or right. It considers people as inteligent beings capable of taking their own decisions, but if you take a decision and it goes wrong only blame yourself! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

  14. How much packing weight do you use???? I never use a packing weight to pack tandems, but I agree if you use a packing weight put it on the main-risers or fix the legstraps to something with a pull-up cord if possible ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

  17. To my opinion this is a big opertunity for the US (and europe) to show the world we are peaseminded and we care about other regions in the world. This will reduce the changes of muslim terrorists to find a safe-heaven in this area. On the other side if the majority of the help comes from extreme muslim groups,.......... ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig
  18. 1. Skyride and its principles have used copyrighted artwork without proper compensation to the artists. Skyride continues to ignore cease and decist letters from said artists. 2. Skyride practices bait/switch sales in their call center (read: A tandem gift cert is $x. OK, now that I've got your credit card, there is a B fee, C fee, D fee, etc. bringing your total gift certificate to $z.) 3. Skyride will deceive their customers by advising there is no dropzone within X amount of miles and you need to drive to X DZ to use our gift certificate. Customer can drive by several, closer, DZs on their way to a DZ that accepts Skyride gift certs. 4. Skyride has a multitude of 'fake' dropzones that are 'in your neighborhood' when in fact they do not even exist in the state. 5. Skyride also has stolen copyrighted website designs. (see: original - 339jump.com, copy - skydivingal.com or SkydiveMS.com) (depending on your browser, these may spill over 5 lines but the points are there) Thanks, the issue becomes clear to me. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig

  22. I agree...Most of the programs that were instituted are now the subject of major reform today because they are such a drain of funds...These programs were only meant to be temporary... ~R+R... Let me tell you I'm from oversocialised europe (netherlands) and everything above is correct. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig
