Has anybody ever tried to take silica gel in between lens and filter or between lens and camera? I had fogging problems on that same weekend but only on my 8mm Peleng, not on the Kit lens or the Diamond 0.3. Franco If it does not cost anything you are the product.

I just bought a '82 911 last week. Ask your question on http://rennlist.com/ they can give you a good answer. From what i hear on the 911 the engine will last forever if roperly maintained properly, so ask for maintainance records. If it wasn't maintained it will need a lot of fixing and parts are very expensive. Franco PS: I have a miata for sale now :-) That might be in your price range, but you shouldn't be overly homophobic if you intend to buy a miata. Other than that it is a great sports car, put on some sticky (Azenis!!) Tires and have fun. If it does not cost anything you are the product.

True, but who would have invested in a completly new currency of a group of countries that keeps fighting and arguing over everything. With countries that have made it a habit to devalue their currency to pay for their debth. Even the population of most of the countries wanted to keep their liras, DM, francs. Not easy to start a new currency. Frano If it does not cost anything you are the product.

Supply and demand. High demand high value, low damand low value. What does the world need dollars for? Building up reserves in a stable currency. China did that as well as most other countries, now they stop further build up and switch part of it to Euros, that's low demand. Buying stuff. The US exports a lot of stuff, but they import far more and they have been doing so for decades. HIgher demand for foreign currency than for your own to pay for the stuff, that's lower demand. Buying Oil, yes for that you still need dollars, will you still need dollars in 10 yeas, i doubht it. Interest rates and trust in the currency of a country is another issue. What can be done, start buying less, saving more and let others buy your stuff e.g. NASDAQ :-) I earn dollars while i am in the US but i should have traded them for Euros right from the start instead of saving here. I dont thing the dollar will return to higher than 1.35 against the Euro anytime soon. Franco If it does not cost anything you are the product.

I have used a 9V Batterie, but so far only for testing, it will work but wont last long and when it goes dead you get vertical stripes. My cam sucks 150mA per hour so a battery pack should last a few hours. Use a battery holder from radio shack they are cheap and some even have a batterie switch. Lithium Batterie pack also sound good. If it does not cost anything you are the product.

That is not correct. Even the BluTec Diesels from Diamler and VW are only "45-state" engines. American automakers haven't put a diesel in a car since the 80s. American heavy diesel engines are amongst the strongest in the world. Ok, i might be off at the number of states, but you can be sure that manufacturers of good diesels are all working on getting their technological advancement in a market that is stuck in the 80s. Building an engine that is just strong is not the problem today, the problem is making it efficient and clean. If it does not cost anything you are the product.

Have you ever driven one of those crap cars? American Diesels are crap i agree, they seem to have engine technology from the 80s, that was a time when german auto manufacurers also made crapy diesels. Times have changed and with recent advancements in Diesel Engine Technology Diesels will come to the US in the next two years. What has been keeping them all except Volkswagen off the market is that they could not be sold in all 50 states, that is beein solved with the next generation of Diesels. Yes, the Omega is from Performance Variable now Firebird http://www.flyfirebird.com/ There is a long story about the Omega and line entaglements on deployment. Franco I am not sure, but did performance variable already exist in 1988? I believe that we are talking about an other rig in this case. kungen mentions that the para foil is form 1988, he did not say when the Container was made, but you have to read it carefully to see that.
