    Hey, Welcome to the forums, and to skydiving. Scott Miller's canopy class is great. I took it, and it has done miricles to my landings, along with playing with my canopy in the air!!!! Granted, i don't have many jumps, but 35 miles/hour? I don't know if that's a great idea... Welcome to the forums, and to skydiving. Good luck with the rest of your jumps.     growing up near the falls, every so often you would hear of people going over the falls in barrels, or no barrels, or boats, etc... It's amazing at the number of people who actually survived doing that stuff.     I agree with you. I got my B license in august with 50 jumps, and had every intention of doing night jumps. At 50 jumps i still wasn't landing on my feet most of the time, do most people at 50 jumps feel comfortable doing night jumps? I really don't know. I'm close to 100 now, and feel so much more confident about so much of the things that I do in the sky. Although i have all the license requirements (except for number of jumps) for my C license, I don't feel like I skydive as someone with a C license should. I feel that there is so much more i should be learning, and be better before i get that license. Granted, the license requirements is bare minimum, and you don't have to get the license at the minimum, but i still think it's a good idea to increase the number.     My first solo jump was incredible. I was going to the plane, just planning on doing a nice stable exit, when my old jumpmaster asked me what i was doing. Another skydiver told me i had to do a forward roll out the plane. I didn't even realize that i could do that. I told nickie that, and she said "oh ya, that's a must", so i did a forward roll out the plane, and found myself in the air all by myself. It was the weirdest, and one of the awesomest feelings i ever had.     at the ranch we have this whole thing that we yell as soon as we take off, i started to almost scream it in the plane, but i figured somehow they'd probably think i was some terrorist or something, if some girl just start screaming... It was definitely the weirdest thing, plus being in real seats, and seatbelts not attached to my rig.... It was too wuffo for me. Don't know how i'll make it down to eloy via plane for the holiday boogie without losing it on the plane. Of course, i did manage to find some very nice areas of water that looked great for swooping (granted i can't do that yet, but for others). The commercial airlines should really allow you to choose jump or land with the plane. I'd feel safer landing my canopy, then with the plane.
