    that's awesome! I know i'm amused with the videos people have taken of my earlier jumps compared to the one i did yesterday. Of course it's still awful, but awesome pics. It's great to see progression

    0:2:0 Tried to get on a sunset load friday, but missed it (darn traiffic sucks on fridays), saturday headed to the ranch, and got in 2 nice jumps in the morning, then the winds screwed me up for the rest of the day (i'll do my 100th next weekend now...hopefully). Had to work all day sunday (of course the weather was awful, so that made me feel a little better, about having to work today).     lol, ya bring beer. We always accept that Ya load 4 was fine (i was on it), then load 5... It was awful. It wasn't high winds, just incredibily weird wind patterms. I guess it happens. lol, let us know when you're going to be at the ranch, i'll go somewhere else. Just kidding, you'll get your license soon enough. Eventually the weather will cooperate

    I love karate. Granted i haven't taken it since i moved to New Jersey, but i know where i went, they had beginner adult classes, so they were seperate from the kid classes. It was great because karate was all about personal development. There were people there that when they started they could do a full split (which i couldn't do in the beginning), and it pushed each person to their limits, and such. It was great! It's a great way to exercise too. I hope you find somewhere, i bet you're going to absolutly love it.

    the dehydrated food is always a good way to go. gorp is always good for a snack, too. i hope you have fun, i'm jealous i can't go.

    i was just introduced to the naked jumping last month. I did a 4 way freefly jump naked, and a solo hop and pop naked. It's great! I am on a new goal of trying to do one a month, plus at least one at each new dropzone i go to. Maybe i'll do another saturday. It's been a while.

    That's good. My mom was worried that if i injured myself horribily, or died no one would tell her, because they wouldn't know who i was, since i don't carry ID too often. I informed her that she's the 'contact person' if something wrong happens. I'm sure that made her feel real good about my jumping.     you're not supposed to say anything to the parents til AFTER you do it. Try talking to her. Ask her her concerns, explain to her how safe skydiving is, and just try to get her to understand. I know after almost a year of talking to my mom, she's almost persuaded to do a tandem jump. It could work

    I did tandem, and definitely don't regret it. I thought it prepared me well for my A license, and everything just flowed very nicely.     YES, I have that poster. A friend of mine bought it for me last year while i was a student. I thought it was/is the greatest poster ever (except it's not a hybrid). It's just funny. You can also get it at www.thinkgeek.com
