    It's not fair! I got kicked out of work yesterday, well they sent me home because i injured my wrist at my computer at work, and the pain started to hurt me real bad yesterday. They told me i'm only allowed to come back after i get medical clearance. The only thing is, is i have to go to one of their doctors. It's a beautiful day today, and I plan on wanting to jump (probably not the greatest thing IF the pain in my wrist comes back, but if it does, i won't jump), but I don't get cell service at one of my DZs i go to, and they're supposed to call me today. I'm completely bored! I may even end up cleaning my apartment. It's NOT FAIR!!!!!!     I have One other "abnormal" sport. That's caving. Crawling around underground for hours upon hours just for the heck of it. It rocks (figurativly and literally). When I was going through the IAF program at the ranch, there'd be tons of times where i would jump in the morning, then go thousands of feet underground in the afternoon. An odd combination, but it's still great. Ironicly one of my caving friends got me into skydiving, he dropped out, but I'm glad i finished. I've even taking some skydivers underground. It's just my other obsession

    Although I would WANT to just jump with the money. If you pay off your debt, then anymore you get afterwards, you'll be able to jump with. Or just pay off some of the debt if you want to use it a little of it for jumping

    I've been feeling that way too lately, but just to make you feel a little better. I've noticed that the winds at the ranch seem to pick up a little bit at mid day. Just enough to ground students. It calms down in the mid afternoon though. If you can, get a few jumps in early in the morning, before the winds get higher, then use the day watching people land, and how to flare (that was always my problem anyway), then start jumping again.     I weigh about the same as you, and got my license/gear this summer. A bunch of the instructors all informed me that a 190 is a good choice. I went with their recommendation and got 190 sabre (i love my sabre), and a 170 reserve. I also have a dolphin container (a lot of people on here may diss that one, but i love it, it's even free-fly friendly (i got mods done to it)). You may want a 190/190. I'd definitely look into buying used gear. If i were you, i'd definitly look at getting a cypress too. Just my 2 cents from another novice

    It's all about the 3D aspect of flying. Except for a few few second attempts, i haven't even been able to hold a stable headdown. HOWEVER, others i've jumped with have, and it's AWESOME doing headdown/stand with them. It's the greatest feeling in the sky!     0:0:5:0 Weather was poor here on the east coast thursday and friday (my weekend started thursday). Saturday took the scott miller canopy control course and did one hop n pop naked (i really like those naked jumps), sunday the weather sucked, around 3PM started drinking, then of course it started to clear up, no jumps on sunday though.     I love my dolphin. I have an older dolphin (bought it used), sent it back to the manufacturer and got full riser protection, and bridle cover, and it works wonderfully in freefly. I LOVE IT!!!!     This week, i've had thursday through sunday off. I had every intention of just jumping nonstop all week long. It's got to be the first week in a while, that it's overcast, cloudy, and rainy all weekend so far. NO FAIR!!! I need 17 jumps to reach 100, who knows if it'll actually happen or not. I wish it was nicer in the northeast . Oh well, i'll probably still go to one of my DZs to hang out. It's all good.... I hope the rest of you have nicer weather for jumping this weekend.     Ready for level 8 (i was flipping out before that level when i did it), heh, heh, heh... Nah, i remember when i was going through the student process that I just kept practicing my arch on the ground... If I wasn't doing anything, or had a few minutes to spare, I'd arch, practice touch to the pilot chute, etc.. I actually would overexaggerate my arch on the ground. Also remember to relax! That's an important thing (i still have problems with that one). See ya at the ranch, bubbles

    well stop by sky's the limit. The weather has definitely been beautiful! I do a lot of week day jumps there, will be jumping there tomorrow (gotta get my jumps in so i can get my C license...20 more........)..... The people are nice, you'll enjoy jumping there.....
