Any updates to windows or any other spyware, antivirus, or firewall programs? Make sure you have all the updates. The Windows auto update doesn't get the non security updates and patches, so go there and do an advanced update. In fact update all of your programs manually. It's a home setup running through a cable modem. There is wireless access, I'm guessing there is a router and I know they are using desktop firewall software (Norton on the problem computer and MCafee on the other.) The tally right now is 1. Got a call this morning from a friend that can't access a site or a link from her computer, but can from her husbands which is on the the same network. Here's the site: http://linkshare.com The client login button does not appear and if she types in the link it does not work either. Is there something peculiar about their code? She has cleared her cookies, cache, history, and I even had her clear her SSL state. Windows XP SP2 running all the hotfixes. Any ideas?
