Not sure what kind of car you drive but my dash sure as hell doesnt create any blind spots. If this scares you I suggest maybe frisbee golf or maybe crossstiching.*** Thats a pretty desperate comment, been waiting to use that one or something oh mighty god?

I get the 90% from watching him 95% of the flight up. I have a very hard time believing an otter pilot can see out the front windown 100% of the flight. Are you a pilot? Any otter pilots care to confirm the 100% statement for me...thanks

Perhaps this question pertains to most skydiving aircraft also (minus cessnas)...I was at the very front of the plane on all loads yesterday, right outside the cockpit...I have noticed this before but not as much as i did yesterday, the dash in the Otter is very high, so high in fact there was no way the pilot could see out the front window during 90% of the climb to altitude...I also noticed there was no attempt made to try and see out the front window. There was an occasional glance out the side window but that was about it. Well me not being a pilot and not understanding flight patterns I was a little freaked out by this, we were basically flying "blind" it seemed. Do otters have any type of warning system if another aircraft is approaching or is to close? I dont know how the hell any type of collision can be avoided if you cant see what is out in front of you or coming your way???

Let me preface this by saying i am not trying to be a dick by asking this question but why didnt you stop her from going up if you thought she had no business jumping? Yes, she is a big girl who can make her own decisions but perhaps she needed to be told it wasnt safe by someone with more experience

I head out this weekend to put my brand new GTI to the test, only got two jumps in due to chaotic winds. First jump was picture perfect...beautiful exit out of the otter, stable flight, soft opening, averaged about 70mph with a 90+sec flight....Second jump was exactly the same until opening time...threw out and next thing i know i am looking at about 8 line twists, hummm, time to think fast. Fortunately I can reach my risers with my wings in tact in my GTI, unfortunately I am heading out into no mans land as i fight these damn line twists...about 20-30 seconds later i'm out of the twists, unzipping and getting back on course to head to the dz....So sweet! Something else I realized this weekend I enjoy in addition to the actual flight itself is getting to hear all the female tandem passengers scream as they are heading towards the door

The all time best is the DONG BONG. The dong bong is only used if someone commits a party foul or fucks up in some other way. What you do is run the hose down through your pants and out your fly, the victim then has to get on his knees and consume in that position while everyone around yells "suck it". Good times

No bike is "pretty much race ready" from the dealer. Unless you know of a dealer that will drill holes in the frame, wire the bike together, remove the mirrors and the turn signals prior to you buying it. I'm just curious as to what your definition of race ready is?

just get an older CBR F3. 95-98 or so. Even an F4 would be a decent choice. If you want to learn on a decent bike those will suit your needs, sportbike without the hardcore sportbike body position.
