  1. This is tinfoil hat material. Only in right wing conservatard fantasyland can a moderate centrist Democrat, who was a professor of constitutional law, be successfully sold to credulous nitwits as the leader of a corrupt socialist evil empire. What a load of crap! Why don't you admit that the real issue is that he is a mud person, which makes him unfit to hold power over people of white, northern european ancestry? The conservatards went happily along with the "Patriot" act when the previous administration decided to abrogate (go look it up, Ron) a good portion of our civil liberties. It takes a complete lack of historical knowledge, and a substantial amount of stupidity, to fall for the conservatard idocy that some folks believe is the gospel. It's not the person. It's his policies and ideology. It's the people he keeps as associates, advisers and czars. It is a collusion of evil. Here we go again... If socialism, and socialistic programs are so evil, why don't you have the ethical and moral consistency to NOT take money and services from the two most "socialistic" programs administered by the US Government? Social Security and Medicare are the programs I refer to. Could it be a manifestation of two faced hypocrisy? You hate "socialism" when it benefits other, but you'll happily take the benefits when it is good for you. Brilliant!!! Just what one would expect from a Right Wing Conservatard. How's the "Tribe" doing these days? Have the folks that do your thinking for you come up with any new gems of ignorance? Collusion of evil? That was the previous administration, not the current one.
  2. Is this not the oath you guys bring up. If it is I see it is very smartly written with loyalty to the constitution as the highest priority. I see it as this; if you officer gives you an order that you know to be unconstitutional you should not follow the order. That takes more integrity and balls then blindly following what ever your told, and I think that's why it is written the way it is. The fact that Manning exposed the facts of the illegal invasion and occupation of a country that NEVER had the means or power to do anything of a MILITARY action against the USA makes him a hero in the rest of the first world countries, to the average citizens of those countries. "I was only following orders" was proven during the Nuremberg trials to NOT be a defense against war crimes. The fact that the USA executed quite a few Japanese for war crimes after WWII, due to the torture (waterboarding, among other actions), is not something that the RWCs are willing to admit to. The fact that so many of the people who purport to be loyal citizens of the USA actually come across as blindly following their leaders is quite shameful. Manning lived up to the oath quoted. Note that the oath states "I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.". That is EXACTLY what he did. The domestic enemies would be the people who ordered and committed the war crimes. That includes the helo pilots, and their line of command, all the way to the CIC. Iraq never, at any time, was a direct threat to the USA. The USA blew off dealing with the issue in Afghanistan so as to complete Shub's vengeance against those that made threats against Poppy during Desert Storm. Add in the PNAC and their motives are quite clear, to those with a slight bit of a clue. The Project for a New American Century was the foundation for all of the foreign policy that happened under ShrubCo. Do a bit of research and read up on what they believed in, and what actually happened. It is very scary that signers of the original policy ended up as key players in ShrubCo. The fact that the PNAC premise was total bullshit has completely escaped the Right Wing Conservatards.

  4. DOJ going after reporters is important. The other issues are right wing partisan bullshit.
  5. Here are a few - Recently I have come to a conclusion about women. A man will never be able to fully satisfy a woman. As far as I know, no man on Earth has a penis made of chocolate that ejaculates money. Just my thought for the day. **************************************************************************************** What is Celibacy? Celibacy can be a choice in life, or a condition imposed by circumstances. While attending a Marriage Weekend, Walter and his wife, Ann, listened to the instructor declare, 'It is essential that husbands and wives know the things that are important to each other.." He then addressed the men, 'Can you name and describe your wife's favorite flower?' Walter leaned over, touched Ann's arm gently, and whispered, 'Gold Medal-All-Purpose, isn't it?' And thus began Walter's life of celibacy.......... ************************************************************************************** Perfect girls getaway Four friends spend weeks planning the perfect girls getaway trip - shopping, casinos, massages, facials.. Two days before the group is to leave, Mary's husband puts his foot down and tells her she isn't going. Mary's friends are very upset that she can't go, but what can they do. Two days later the three get to the hotel only to find Mary sitting in the bar drinking a glass of wine. "Wow, how long you been here and how did you talk your husband into letting you go?" "Well, I've been here since last night............. Yesterday evening I was sitting on the couch and my husband came up behind me and put his hands over my eyes and said 'Guess who'?" I pulled his hands off to find all he was wearing was his birthday suit. He took my hand and lead me to our bedroom. The room was scented with perfume, had two dozen candles and rose petals all over............ On the bed, he had handcuffs and ropes! He told me to tie and cuff him to the bed, so I did. And then he said, "Now, you can do whatever you want.." "So here I am."
  6. Amusing how you seem to think deficit spending a la Reagan was bad, but what Barry does is OK. Amusing how RWcs have MASSIVE concern over deficit spending anytime a Democratic administration has been elected. At no time during any Republican administration has any RWC come out in opposition to deficit spending. The RWCs consistently neglect to mention that ShrubCo kept the Iraq invasion and occupation, as well as the Afghanistan activities, OFF BUDGET. That is right, those military activities that had hundreds of BILLIONS in direct costs did not show up on any budgets from 2001-2009. That doesn't account for the two trillion or so in long term costs that this, and the next several, administrations will have to deal with. All that money, borrowed from China, for what? Just think how many college campuses could have been built/refurbished with that money? Educations that could have been paid for? Health care that could have been provided? Good thing we did some regime change and "other nation" building instead of taking care of the USA and its citizens. The Democratic administration put those costs BACK ON BUDGET, as fiscally responsible administrations do, so as to NOT hide the costs from the average American citizen. The RWCs have used the distorted facts about budgets and deficit spending to convince the conservatards that BAD things are happening. RWCs buy that bullshit, credulous nitwits that they are. Anyone with half a clue, doesn't.
  7. Jumptown and Pepperell are both great DZs. Pepperell is the next town to the southwest of Nashua, NH, where there is a tunnel. http://www.skyventurenh.com/ Given that New England has crappy weather a lot, I'd plan for Pepperell as the tunnel is a short ride away. Normal planning for weekend is plan A for good weather, and plan B for bad weather. The decision as to which plan to execute can't reliably be made until the day before, if you are lucky, or the day of. Don't like the weather? wait a bit, it'll change. As far as safe skydiving, you can't go wrong at either DZ.
  8. Your life will be MUCH easier if you establish a really short list of people who opinions actually matter to you, and ignore the rest of the human race. As others have written, it is up to you, with careful consideration of the opinion of the mother of your child, to make your own decision as to how to conduct your life. GREAT picture. Congratulations.
  9. The governor of Texas IS a moron, elected by the morons who voted for him.
  10. In other words, let corporations and businesses operate however they like, without any meddlesome government regulations as to how they conduct business. Another way of saying what you said is to privatize profits, and make taxpayers bear the costs when catastrophes happen. An excellent example of Right Wing Conservatard philosophy. Businesses are awesome, regulations suck, and citizens rights not to have their houses blown up by irresponsible business operators do not exist. It is the homeowners fault for living so close to the minimally regulated business. Maybe you could move somewhere like the unregulated paradise that is Somalia. They certainly don't have any regulations as to how a business operates. Pesky rules like maintaining adequate insurance will never be an issue there.
  11. Which Right Wing Conservatard broadcast this latest talking point? Lush Rimjob? Nutter Beck? Do tell us where you got this latest gem of "wisdom".
  12. Skydiving is easy. Anyone can do it. You do have to use special equipment to do it more than once...
  13. Way to go Texas!!!! Let us all give thanks to the lack of government regulations in Texas. Business friendly climate, indeed. West Fertilizer company had a 1 million dollar liability policy. Damage from the blast is estimated at 100 million dollars. Taxpayers will be picking up the tab. Good thing they weren't required to carry an appropriate amount of insurance. That might have cut into their profit margins. Governer Perry was OUTRAGED at a political cartoon that depicted the lack of government regulation and oversight as being a major contributor to the explosion. What an asshole. No inspections since 2006. A million dollar policy was enough to allow operations. Does that moron need any more proof that the cartoon is ACCURATE? The citizens of Texas, and the US Government will have to pick up the tab for the costs not covered due to the lack of insurance. RWCs get all pissed off about welfare when it benefits poor people. How about this kind of corporate welfare? Does that piss you off, too? Didn't think so... Way to go, Texas!!! Y'all must be really proud of how little government you have.
  14. Pulse oximeters are available for well under $100.00 They measure bood oxygen saturation. See the wiki at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulse_oximetry They react fast enought so that when you see the level going down, you can take deep breaths and or pressure breath (hold a deep breath and flex your abs to pressurize the air in your lungs) and watch the numbers come back up. Regular smokers will have less oxygen uptake than non smokers. Tobacco or other products...
  15. Macho man!!!! Ha, Ha Ha!!!! What exactly do you mean by "Man the fuck up."? I asked the questions because the statement makes no sense at all when one has access to the Internet. It isn't a real challenge to look up a single word and find a definition. Failing to do so is being willfully ignorant. Right Wing Conservatism is a clear indicator that one is ignorant and ill informed. Nothing positive for society has ever come out of RWC philosophy. Not a single thing, EVER. If it was up the conservetards, Plessy v Ferguson would still be in effect, women's suffrage would have never happened, and miscegenation laws would still be in effect. Now go look up what I wrote about. THEN reply to my post.
  16. I am not quite sure what point you tried to make. Are you saying that your vocabulary is deficient? Are you saying that your education is lacking? Are you saying that since you never heard of the word, it must be fake? Or are you just being willfully ignorant, as you didn't take the time to enter the word into any search engine to find out what it means before posting this?
  17. Yes we can. It seems you have a little amazon in you. No you can't. You didn't. You had a chance and did not add anything to bak up your assertion. You just typed bullshit about another person who has the intellectual prowess to think rationally, just like I do. People like us get REALLY pissed at the moron bastard shitheads who have zero knowledge of history, and repeat the talking points of the corporate owned media, much like mindless parrots. Come Right Wing Conservatards, where is the explanation as to how money spent for stimulous of the economy is NOT like money spent to stimulate the economy for the production of military hardware the military DOES NOT WANT!!!! Come on, tards, you can do it... NOT
  18. The same Right Wing Conservatards who forced through this bill are the exact same ones who refuse to vote for any bill that promotes government spending to help kick-start the economy. The convince the ignorant masses that have limited information sources that porkulous for economic stimulous is terrible, while porkulous for military hardware is the greatest. I look forward to the comments from the right wing conservatards who post here. How do you explain this one? You can't...
  19. Does your lawn service use only US citizens? Are you sure the people who do the work aren't undocumented workers? Have you bothered to verify that all of their employees have the legal right to work in the USA? Do they have workmens comp insurance? Did you check? Didn't think so. As an avowed Right Wing Conservative, why haven't you done any of this?
  20. Can any of the right wing conservatards show me where in the US Constitution it specifies that it takes 60 votes to pass a bill through the Senate? You can't. This is happening due to the gross abuse of the filibuster by the Rescumlicans. The corporate owned media pitched a bitch in 2005 when Democratic Senators filibustered Rescumlican bills in 2005. The media pressure was relentless. How is it that this gross abuse of Senate rules is so completely ignored? Hows about we go back to governing by the methodology written into the Constitution?
  21. Agreed. So is successful birth control. It isn't 100% effective, unfortunately. I have no problem with personal freedom and individual responsibility. One of the great concepts that has unfortunate practical results. Your morality and beliefs may clash with mine. You mind your own business, and I'll stay out of yours. That concept goes a very long way towards a civilized SECULAR society. As I wrote here once before, if you want to live your life based on a book of fables written 2000 years ago, have at it. Just don't expect me to follow along. Freedom OF religion must inculde freedom FROM religion. My sisters, cousins, nieces and grand nieces MUST HAVE the right to make such personal private medical decisions free from government or religious zealot interference. How can that be anything less than personal freedom, at its core expression? That is what the USA is supposed to be about, isn't it? My mother's best friend from her high school days died of a back alley abortion. My mother still keeps her picture on her wall. My oldest niece very well could have been aborted. I have another niece that was born on by birthday in 1978, who was given up for adoption by her teenage mother who had no education or real job at the time. Failed birth control. It happens. She has since gotten in touch with the family. She turned out to be a fine person with a great education, funded by her parents. She has a great husband and awesome, well behaved children. I get it. As a true American, I prefer to be on the side of GREATER freedom, not less. I trust my sisters (all women) to make the best decisions that they can. The government and busybodies can mind their own business.
  22. Don't have one then. And don't stick your nose in other womens' business either. Right, wait until the children are born and then support a government that sticks their nose into everything involved in raising a child. The immense concern that Right Wing Conservatards and the anti-choice nosy fucking bastards have for the "unborn children" is really impressive. Too bad that concern stops completely at delivery. These are the same asswipes who oppose a baseline National Medical System for all citizens. They oppose prenatal care subsidized or paid for by government. Anything that helps a poor, unmarried single mother is "A GOVERNMENT HANDOUT" that simply must not happen under any circumstances. It is very sad that no one seems to have any education of history and how the USA came to where we are today. Women died due to illegal abortion. Many were maimed for life. The decision to have, or not have, an abortion is a deeply personal one. Those that argue for freedom and personal choice, while advocating for government intervention in the most personal decision a woman can make, are hypocrites of the highest order. The same halfwits that decry government intervention in their selection of firearms and accessories like high cap magazines are 100% in favor of restrictions on the private medical decisions of 1/2 the population. The word is hipocrisy. The so called "freedom lovers" are all for freedom, unless you are female. Then you'll do what GOVERNMENT dictates when the issue of pregnancy comes up. The worst part of this whole issue is the fact that wealthy women will be able to have abortions safely as they are free to travel elsewhere to have medical procedures performed. The burden of the government intrusion on personal medical decisions falls strictly on the less fortunate. From a strictly practical standpoint, I would rather the government pay for abortions that to shell out for welfare and medicaid for the unwanted children. It still doesn't make sense that the "moral indignation" over goverment funding for abortions applies, while MY moral indignation over the use of goverment funds for premeditated invasion and occupation of other countries does not. Planned war that kills hundreds of thousands of adults and children, and causes mass migration of millions to adjoining countres is somehow LESS important than "unborn babies". What a fucked up set of morals the USA has developed.
  23. I recommend waiting until the healing is complete. However long that takes. When blowing your nose doesn't produce any blood at all, for at least three days in a row, you are good to go. That is the advice I received when I had a deviated septum fixed and turbinectomy done. That took about 4 weeks or so. The sky isn't going anywhere. Be smart and wait it out. No, I did not have a jet motor pulled out of my nose... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turbinectomy
  24. Tats, piercings, and other decorative body mutilations have never been especially appealing to me. Pierced ears on women, for earrings, nah. Tats look ugly to me. Even the so called "artistic" ones. Back when Pulp Fiction came out, piercings and tats were rare, and a sign of individuality. Now, everyone under 40 seems to have some of each. One of the funniest sequences in the movie was when Travolta asked his drug dealer "Who's that chick with all the shit in her face", and got the reply "that's my wife", to which he said "uh, sorry". Fashion trends come and go. This one has hung in there longer than I expected. The only thing I have that comes close to a tattoo is where my knee got gashed open when a rope swing broke and I ended up in a bunch of sharp rocks and dirt. The embedded dirt shows up as a grey line in my right knee. Doctors? I didn't need no stinkin doctor. I scrubbed it out as best I could and taped it shut. It healed up fine, except for the grey line that is there to this day. 12 years old, with questionable judgment, I was.
  25. "The only good Indian is a dead Indian." Wendy P. I didnt know you hated indians You are showing your profound ignorance of history. The same profound ignorance that manifests itself on many other subjects. The northern europeans that moved to an already inhabited area did, indeed, perform genocide on the Native Americans. The US Military was heavily involved in the second half of the 19th century. Before the USA became the USA, the first recorded instance of biological arfare was conducted in New England. Smallpox infected blankets were handed out to the locals. This tactic was extremely successful. About 80% died. Igorance is curable. Entrenched stupidity is not.
