  1. A plausible explanation... Nicely done http://www.clevelandleader.com/node/13319
  2. Nicely done, Bill. It was like shooting fish in a barrel with a shotgun. Too bad your message is so difficult for the conservative nitwits to comprehend. They simply can't understand it at all. It would be funny if it weren't so sad.
  3. Just for clarification The dollar amount you like to use here is the $200 per day per head FINE the federal judge assessed and in reality it would be MUCH more that the 1 million you like to use He has paid his so called rent to Clark county and the state So what would RWC media have to say if Cliven Bundy were not white? Absolutely nothing, I am sure. Would white "militia" loonies be helping out the non-white citizens that were "standing up to the BLM"? I am 100% sure that they would not. Since when is lawbreaking and threatening government agents with heinous violence acceptable? It is OK if Faux Spews says it is, apparently. Right Wing media should be held responsible for aiding and abetting domestic terrorism in this matter. Publishing lies that bring out hundreds of armed idiots that are ready to do battle with duly authorized federal employees enforcing federal laws is actively supporting terrorism. Why isn't there any action being taken to stop this terrorist activity? Begin quoted text >>> For 20 years the federal government has fined Cliven Bundy for grazing his cattle on protected land. And for 20 years Bundy has refused to pay. Last month this dance came to an end when the Bureau of Land Management sent Bundy a letter informing him that it intended to “impound his trespass cattle” that have been roaming on federal property. It closed off hundreds of thousands of acres, and earlier this month, moved to round up Bundy’s cows. Protesters challenged the BLM, and Bundy’s son was arrested for “refusing to disperse” from the area in question. Bundy’s cause caught fire on right-wing blogs, egged on by Fox News and conservative outlets like the National Review, which have held the confiscation as a dangerous intrusion on private property rights, despite Bundy’s lawbreaking. Defending his decision, the rancher told one right-wing radio host that he’s ready to take drastic steps beyond refusing to pay: I told you that I did the legal thing and the political thing and the media thing and it seems like it's down to “we the people” if we're going to get it done. You know the things like militias. You know, I haven't called no militia or anything like that, but hey, it looks like that's where we're at. To that end, hundreds of people from outside Nevada—including “militia” armed with rifles and ammunition—have joined his protests, going as far as to set up camp and confront federal officials with brandished weapons. The federal government blinked, and the Bureau of Land Management announced an abrupt end to its cattle roundup, hoping to avoid violence and further confrontations. A few things. First, this entire incident speaks to the continued power of right-wing mythology. For many of the protesters, this isn’t about a rogue rancher as much as it’s a stand against “tyranny” personified in Barack Obama and his administration. Second, it won’t happen, but right-wing media ought to be condemned for their role in fanning the flames of this standoff. After years of decrying Obama’s “lawlessness” and hyperventilating over faux scandals, it’s galling to watch conservatives applaud actual lawbreaking and violent threats to federal officials. Finally, I can’t help but wonder how conservatives would react if these were black farmers—or black anyone—defending “their” land against federal officials. Would Fox News applaud black militiamen aiming their guns at white bureaucrats? Somehow, given the degree to which right-wing media traffic in racial paranoia, I think we’d be looking at a different situation if the Bundy Ranch belonged to a bunch of black people. And as someone who closely follows the regular incidents of lethal police violence against blacks and Latinos, I also wonder whether law enforcement would be as tepid against a group of armed African-Americans. Judging from past events, I’m not so sure.
  4. Yeah, I don't think people get to pick and choose which taxes and fees they pay and not pay based on how the person who collects the taxes and fees uses them. This was a flat out admission the family fucked up. Fortunately, land claims, grants and ownership is something pretty well documented in the US. All a person should really have to do to check out the family's side of the story is visit the county's Hall of Records office. Maybe even on-line. http://www.clarkcountynv.gov/depts/assessor/pages/recordsearch.aspx On the other hand, if the family wanted to lay claim by squatter's rights or something, they can also prove it's their land by coughing up property tax receipts. If they haven't been paying property tax, it's abandoned land and the BLM has every right to it. Just out of curiosity, does anybody have the GPS coordinates outlining the land in question? Don't go raining on the latest "outrage" parade that the Right Wing Conservatards are having right now. You are messing with their minds, coming up with logical, factual information, and useful questions that show how the family is WRONG in their actions. The news that the RWC press has twisted the facts of the situation to make the government look like the bad guys is sure to get the 'tards all riled up. If their information sources are inaccurate on this matter, and are leading them to believe things that are provably false, they will freak out. It calls into question the accuracy of other information the 'tards receive and believe in. That just can't happen. The right wing media machine is always accurate, truthful, and presents nothing but factual information, NOT. You don't pay the rent to the landlord, you and your stuff gets evicted from the property. Simple and straightforward. You would think that these simple concepts would be apparent to anyone with an IQ over 85. Based on the writing here, that is not the case. You can make the 'tards believe anything, if you tell them lies the right way. Baaaaa, the sheeple RWCs follow their shepherds down the path of stupidity.
  5. Pretty much anything on this list. So some dumbass thinks I am a commie? RWC stupidity is not to be underestimated. That shit went out about 30-40 years ago. This thread is GREAT. One of the primary conservative posters on here posted that Paul Ryan's fictitious budget (re-released on April Fools day) was the best news he had seen in a while. A more perfect example of how RWCs are sheeple that can't think real well cannot be found. Hook, line, and sinker, Marc bought into the inside joke that Ryan pulled off. It is as hilarious as the folks that repeat The Onion material as factual news. I expect that Ryan was making clear just how ignorant and ill-informed RWCs are. Well done, Paul. The conservative base is a pack of idiots. Easily led to think really stupid things are true. The idiots vote, unfortunately.
  6. ***Republitard Are you freaking 12 years old? I cant read your posts, please try harder to be a grown up around here I am accurately describing the nitwits who can't discern fact from fiction. Feel free to not read anything I post. I DESPISE the idiots who are supporting the people who are totally destroying the USA. I have 100% utter contempt for the folks that watch and believe Faux Spews, Lush Rimjob, etc, and act on the misinformation that is presented. The kind of morons who drive around with American flag in their pickup truck beds. The same folks that think that Confederate flag paraphernalia is not racist.
  7. Quoting Faux Spews as an information source is laughable. Republitard TV is not a credible source of factual information. Have the nitwits there stopped with the birth certificate bullshit, or is that load of crap still in play for the morons? The vast majority of the US Budget is "defense" spending. Dumbass Ryan's "balanced budget" plan does nothing to decrease "defense" spending. Not one penny is cut from that part of the budget. Tax cuts for corporations and the extremely wealthy, along with massive cuts in social programs = trickle down economics, the new retarded Republican version. That trickle down shit fucked over the regular working folks in the USA pretty badly already. More of the same is a recipe for a continued economic disaster. Why is it that serious fucked up economic policies that have been proven to NOT work are so popular among the Republican sheeple? Are they really as stupid as it seems? What is the reason why learning from past mistakes is so impossible for those kind of people? Inquiring minds want to know.
  8. I could not agree more Here is an oportunity for a President to insure history views him positively You are cracking me up, Marc. False crap like this was released on April 1. Given the content, it makes perfect sense that it was released on April Fools Day. Hook, line and sinker, the gullible fall for the bullshit. Republicans are the ones with the history of running up massive deficits and locking the US government in to stupid polices like Medicare Part D. Not allowing the government to negotiate bulk prices for drug purchases, thus allowing the drug companies to charge what they like for the drugs is the perfect example of the Republican "fiscal responsibility" that is a sham. It takes a special breed of idiot to believe the pathetic crap that comes out of the corporate owned media.
  9. Another gullibility test FAIL. Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in the dictionary? Didn't think so. How is that actively practicing Socialism going for you, Ron? Do you still hate Socialism, or not? Another space cadet adventure, eh. A screwball perspective from an unrepentant hypocrite who lives their life by what is written in a 2000 year old book of fables. I can't say I am shocked. Reality does look odd when you have a very tenuous connection to it. Using an incinerator to burn medical waste is a normal practice. Calling it something else is just plain bullshit, no matter how you slice it. Unless, of course, you can't discern fact from fiction. The inability to tell truth from fiction is the hallmark of Right Wing Conservatives, especially those that are false Christians. Cheech and Chong said it best - "I used to be all messed up on drugs, now I am all messed up on the Lord."

I wouldn't put too much trust in something that produces these kind of results. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/12/31/science/i-had-my-dna-picture-taken-with-varying-results.html?_r=1& YMMV
  12. No I cannot. I do not believe BHO has any awareness of a soul other than his own. He is a narcissist. More parroted bullshit from the Tribe leaders? Or is this something you found in your book of fables that you live by? Where do you come up with such inane bullshit? Faux Spews? The drug addled gas bag's radio show? Newsmax? .
  13. There's a picture of it in the museum. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curtiss_F9C_Sparrowhawk The 'x' indicates it was experimental. According to the wiki article, the -2 means it was the second prototype. So you are right that all production models were lost with their mother ships. Apparently three on Akron and four on Macon. If you liked that bit of California Central Coast history about the Macon, you'll like this one about the USS Montebello. http://www.sanluisobispo.com/2012/12/22/2336338/times-past-the-sinking-of-the.html Updates from people who know a few more details - http://www.sanluisobispo.com/2013/02/27/2409021/a-real-exclusive.html and http://www.sanluisobispo.com/2013/03/06/2418429/additional-info.html The self-censorship of the media in those days was impressive. Another interesting tidbit of California Central Coast history is the shelling of the Ellwood oil field by a Japanese submarine. Good thing they were lousy shots. It could have been really bad. http://www.independent.com/news/2011/oct/02/submarine-shelling-ellwood-oil-field-1942/
  14. Non rigid structure = blimp Rigid structure = dirigible Goodyear Dirigible does not roll off the tongue like Goodyear Blimp does. I would pay $500.00 for a jump ticket. Has anyone ever contacted Goodyear and tried to hire one for a boogie? On February 12, 1935, the dirigible USS Macon crashed off the coast of Big Sur. There is an interesting read about it at the link below. Not mentioned in the story is that the Macon and the Akron (sister ships) hosted Curtiss F9C Sparrowhawk aircraft on board. It was quite a challenge to return to base. Flying formation with something that big, fighting through the slipstream to hook up, was not for the cautious pilot. The underwater photos of the Macon wreckage shows the remains of the Sparrowhawks. Do a google search. IIRC, there are no surviving Sparrowhawks. There was a proposal to try to recover one from the Macon. That went nowhere due to the site being on the National Register of Historic Places. http://www.sanluisobispo.com/2014/03/20/2981908/the-last-flight-of-the-uss-macon.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curtiss_F9C_Sparrowhawk
  15. The Republicans would - Start a war by performing air to ground attacks, sending in ground troops, and at the same time implement massive tax cuts for the extremely wealthy. When the completely predictable economic collapse occurs, time it to happen just as a Democratic administration is elected. Then blame ALL of the economic issues on the Democratic administration, while doing everything possible to PREVENT any useful policies from being implemented to repair the economy. The extremely wealthy will once again benefit from the economic meltdown, while the average citizen gets the shaft. They would use their allies corporate ownership of the media to convince the average citizen that everything is the fault of the Democratic administration. Any war crimes like torture will be ignored, and the people who approved and conducted the torture would NOT be held to account for their crimes. They would refuse to staff and fund the Veterans Administration with the resources necessary to take care of the people they sent to war, and erect barriers to approval and distribution of benefits due the veterans. This worked great the first time. Could we expect them to NOT give it another go? I think not.
  16. Corporations are not people. Corporations do not have belly buttons. The can not be put in jail. They can not be executed by hanging, lethal injection, firing squads, or any other means. These FACTS make the assertion that they have the ability to have "religious beliefs" patently ridiculous. Corporations do not have free will. They have no ability to make up a "mind" about an issue, or change that "mind" when knowledge, education, or a new understanding of facts and circumstances occurs. The Hobby Lobby suit is 100% political. It is a manifestation of the hatred fomented by the right wing media machine that ignores facts, statistics, and despises the average American citizens rights and freedom. Nothing positive for society has ever come from the practical application of conservative philosophy. If conservative philosophy had held up, the Jim Crow laws would still be in effect, unmarried adult women would not be allowed to own property on their own names and have independent credit, Social Security and Medicare would not be in effect, and deeds to property could legally exclude property ownership by anyone who was not of white Northern European ancestry. All of the positive changes that have occurred in society have come about via the practical application of Liberal philosophy.
  17. I certainly hope not. It might be worthwhile for the Freedom from Religion folks to litigate to prevent any federal or state funding from being used to support the religious facilities on US Military bases. Why should MY tax dollars be used to support religious facilities? That it is happening now violates the principles of separation of church and state. Ending the tax breaks to religious organizations is another thing that needs to happen.
  18. That is a ridiculous statement. Ron, based on your writings here, the conclusion that you meant "whites only" is one that makes perfect sense. Hypocrites HATE being called out for their hypocrisy. Speaking of hypocrites, have you stopped taking Social Security payments and stopped using Medicare services yet? You have written plenty here about your supposed hatred of Socialism, while at the same time you partake of the benefits of the most Socialistic programs administered by the US Government. If you had one iota of integrity, you would back up your professed hatred of Socialism by declining to partake in the benefits of the programs. When do you plan to stop taking the benefits, Ron? If you are going to keep taking the benefits, how about a smidgen of honesty? You could write something along the lines of "I really, really hate Socialism, except when I personally benefit from it. The programs that help me have been helpful to many deserving people. When it helps people that I don't like, then I am opposed to it." That would be somewhat honest. What is it going to be, Ron? Utter hypocrisy, or a slight bit of honesty? I pray that you find peace through meaningful purpose. Jesus Christ is your answer. May you find Him soon. In other words, you will continue your hypocrisy without feeling any shame or guilt. That religious bullshit sure screws up one's ability to tell right from wrong. I sure wish I could be there when you meet your maker and are called to account for your behavior. I am sure that it will be VERY interesting.
  19. That is a ridiculous statement. Ron, based on your writings here, the conclusion that you meant "whites only" is one that makes perfect sense. 20. You sound like a pimp or a customer. Which is it Professor? Prostitution is legal in some counties in Nevada. Why would you conclude that a person who supports women who work at a legal trade in their home state, while living and working in another state, be an operator of a whorehouse, or a customer of a whorehouse? Why would being an operator of a legal whorehouse, or a customer of one, be a bad thing? Do you have some personal issues that make you squirmish when it comes to activities between consenting adults? Are you a right wing conservatard who can't tell the difference between truth and fiction, watches Faux Spews and believes that the information presented there is truthful, and listens to Lush Rimjob, the drug addled gas bag that is the beacon of factual information for Right Wing Conservatards and other two digit IQ moron bastard shitheads?
  21. How DARE you question the word of God!!!
  22. I used to be all messed up on drugs. Now I am all messed up on the Lord... Cheech and Chong's best explanation for the folks like Ron. Living your life based on a book of fables that is few thousand years old is pretty weird. Then again, a good summation of the human condition is - Hairless apes are weird. Are you still luxuriating in the benefits of Socialism, Ron? Social Security and Medicare are the two most Socialistic programs adminstereed by the US Government. As you and your "tribe" are adamantly opposed to Socialism, one would expect you to sacrifice your wallet for your beliefs. Not doing so make you a hypocrite of the highest order. I won't even start on the lack of ethics and morals of this behaviour. Carry on...
  23. Obedient Conservatards repeat the party line about a highly qualified individual. The same Conserrvatards profess to have the utmost respect for those who have served in the Military. Those that have been awarded the Purple Heart, are absolutely not worthy of respect, if they happen to be a Democrat running for POTUS. Then the Consevatards produce band aids in the shape of the Purple Heart, as shameful as that is, and use them to disparage a man who had served honorably, while the opposing candidate had not. 100% hypocrisy, and the 'tards are too clueless to see it. You may not like Ms. Warren. Lack of qualifications is not a valid reason. I am sure that Faux Spews, Rimjob, etc, all repeat the mantra about "lack of qualifications" when the facts show otherwise. Conservatards have no regards for facts. They just repeat what their leaders tell them, even when it is patently ridiculous. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_Warren
  24. The poster child for distorted reality in their world view seems to think that Liberals have something to do with his confusion. It comes from watching Faux Spews, listening/watching Nutter Beck, and hanging out with people who are as backwards and ignorant as it is possible to be. Socialism is bad, except when Ron personally benefits from it. Then the whine "I earned it" comes, even though your leaders call the programs you like and use "entitlements" that can be cut/reduced any time. Are you happy being a "Taker", Ron?
