The worst ones for me are the technical ones that end up having an entirely different meaning:- Decent vs Descent Break vs Brake Yolk vs Yoke. There is an article on the home page where at least two of the above are used.... And then there is the drouge. What exactly is a drouge?

Resemble in this context is used 'tongue in cheek'. One would indeed normally resent a remark, but resemble is simply used in a joking manner, suggesting that the remark may apply to the reader in question.

I could use three arms packing my new zp chute. Yip. And I am not convinced that having three arms will be such a drawback for reproduction either. Well, the build up to reproduction anyway...

If you are using MS Word, choose "Insert" from the taskbar and then choose "Symbol" from the dropdown box. You are presented with a table of symbols - highlight the ñ or Ñ and click on the "Insert" button. You only need to do this once. Thereafter copy & paste the character from your own document as needed.

I asked the question in another thread but received no replies. I am at a loss as to why Iran could/should be attacked in the first place. What would be the reasons and objectives? What would constitute winning? Getting their oil for Bush and Co. I'd rather get no reply to a serious question than that old dead horse response.

Indeed. A very good menu with a nice variety, although we don't refer to lamb chops as lollipop chops! As a matter of interest, what do the typical (non SA) diners think they are getting when they order Boerewors and pap ? -

As a totally non-partisan observer, I totally agree. I'm also thinking of Jimmy Carter and his contribution to good causes. While he was out here for the 'Habitat for Humanity' project, there was never any hint of politics, right, left or upside down. He simply wanted to help, and if using his status as former President contributed, cool!
