  1. Should they have gone to college too (to become more intelligent?)
  2. My post was a play on words, alluding to Ms Jackson's recent wardrobe malfunction during halftime.
  3. Accepted. Now apologise for abusing the apostrophe.
  4. And with a bit of luck there is a rope malfunction and everyone gets to see him getting hanged twice.
  5. Jack's point was that in SA's case the Health (sic) Minister must take a lot of blame for spouting the garbage that she does - nothing at all to do with Catholicism or the Pope. And Jack is quite correct too.
  6. I'm obviously not a pilot, hence the question. Thanks for the informative replies.
  7. It was interesting, and very informative too.
  8. You may want to start another poll: "Devolution - where do you stand?"
  9. Did you pull out first? Must have hurt otherwise!
  10. What are the benefits of touching down like that?

You mean it is not a little furry animal with its left legs shorter than its right, and which spends its days running anti-clockwise around hilltops??
  12. Please elaborate. Here you go... http://www.iabolish.com/slavery_today/country_reports/bj.html That's not SA. He won't be the first nor the last to think that Africa is one big country.
  13. We (South Africa) have been producing fuel from coal since the mid 1950s.
  14. Agreed. Salamium would have done the job just as well.
  15. Different theory and person, but here you go. Dixie Lee Ray ?
  16. As a South African I agree wholeheartedly! I was mostly trying to elicit responses from those that don't agree. (Such as the example highlighted in my original post). What is also worth noting is the fact that in most of Africa, homosexuality is a complete taboo. Thus, for SA to be one of the very few countries in the world to take this step is quite a bold move.
  17. Same-sex Bill gets Parliament go-ahead. Are we now with the good guys or the bad guys?
  18. It's ok to have butterflies in your stomach. Just make sure they are flying in formation.
  19. But when you legally defraud this, we look good?? Maybe so...lol... I can barely speak for my OWN writing skills, much less some reporter's.... Perhaps the reporter and GWB's speech writer went to the same class?
  20. But when you legally defraud this, we look good??
  21. I've quoted that on here before... Anzac, right? It is known as Remembrance Day in South Africa too. Wearing the poppy is still a tradition but mostly practised by the older folk. The poem above is used as a prayer by our MOTHs.
  22. Everyone knows that only obeying orders is not a defense.
