    Most of the 'usual suspects' on SC do not hesitate to judge the Muslims of Iraq, Kosovo & Afghanistan. As someone pointed out earlier - the line gets fuzzy very quickly.

    Do you not think this is heading towards a serious Catch-22 situation? According to Jan's numbers, in addition to the overall decrease, the number of specifically C & D licences are decreasing. That means a smaller pool of potential new TIs. There must be attrition of existing TIs too. Given that the consensus seems that, for most of the operations, tandems are essential, the demand is eventually going to overtake the supply of TIs, even if the demand for tandems does not increase.

    Well, they tried crashing an AN-2 into the Eiffel Tower, but it didn't work so well. So I reckon they thought the B-25 wouldn't do either. (See pic for irrefutable proof.)

    A singer who thought that the Beatles were more popular than Christ!.Of course he had to be spied on! And the way he evolved from the clean-cut Liverpool days to the longhaired, drug taking hippie - you are still surprised? I think there was a lot more to him than met the eye.

    I also think this a silly conspiracy theory, however I have no ambition to argue the point. I am interested to know (in your opinion) why the 'conspirators' would take down the towers, hit the Pentagon and (I believe) attempt to hit DC. What do you think 'they' hoped to accomplish?

    I was not attempting to draw a comparison. I was simply responding to Dave's post about circumcisions in non-sterile environments.

    Ironically, in South Africa (and many other African counties) many males die as a direct result of circumcision during traditional initiations .

    I think the fact that these women were prostitutes is very relevant and it should not be hidden. All indications are that the killer specifically targeted prostitutes. In fact, according to Skynews, The Guardian is claiming that police are giving prostitutes money to keep them off the streets until the killer is apprehended.

    Do you actively let the student know that he has been released? I'm thinking it could be somewhat like teaching my kid to ride a bicycle. Initially, when I let go of the bike without him knowing, he was fine, but the moment he realised he was on his own he would lose his balance and crash. I remember my own AFF release jump well and I had no idea that I had been released until the mainside flew in front of my face and gave me a thumbs up. (I did have the benefit of having done up to 10 seconds freefall on S/L progression before starting AFF and as a result I was nice and stable before and after the release.)

    Fair enough. I guess that referring to a public forum on a public forum could be confusing to the public in the forum.

    I think that in today's ridiculous PC environment that that is a perfectly valid question for debate. Before long we will be referring to grave diggers as 'permanent internment technicians' just so that we don't offend their families. We agree on that, although I don't understand the relevance.

    What is the difference between SCUBA diving, skydiving and muffdiving? The view. Ps. I don't know that for sure because I don't SCUBA dive.

    Didn't it go on to Oz on its test flight after leaving us. It sure was an awesome sight to see that plane on finals into Johannesburg International.
