    That reminds me of the same skydiver chicks I was thinking of as well. Infact, that attitude, I know for a fact, screwed one of them out of being invited on some cool skydives after pulling that crap while paying to be trained for those kinds of skydives. Which is too bad, since from what I understand, she basically has the skill for the jumps, the organizers just don't want her around due to that attitude.     Skr You still the mann Baby Who said old brains cell die. I got a 4 pin I take to bed every night (don't ask). I checked it and there's a "D" stamped on one side of the flat spot of the handle and a "2" on the other side in the exact location you described. Don't have a clue where we got the handle from since haven't jumped a B-4 in 4 decades. but it does come in usual for all kinds of things. Very impressive skratch

    What if you bought your jump tickets over the internet from a out of state middle man that allowed you to pay with a Credit card and sent you a lift ticket in the mail for the local DZ. Would you still have to pay sales tax. . Middle man could be located and bonded in Nigeria. R.I.P.

    i was getting good penetration, landed close to my target, and was able to conrol it fine after i landed.... Read previous posts about chicks getting hurt because their male "friends" allowed, encouraged, them to get on loads they weren't ready for. A recent one was posted in the incident reports . The nice lady doing the beach jumps with a radio for ground control "just in case". I think the womens forum also covered this topic. Knowing when to stand down comes from listening to others, observing, or lesson learned after you get hurt. The choice is yours. If you continue jumping you will learn one way or the other. Been there done that R.I.P.

    Bought pickles out of a wooden barrel Played marbles played stick ball (2nd manhole was a home run) pitched qtrs Made a scooter out of a orange crate (wooden) and a skate. Skates had steel wheels and required a key to adjust them to your shoe. A candy bar cost a nickle and people complained about the price. remember the first B&W T.V.     This was a extreme case dut to the, recent abductions, spousal abductions, & nationwide media exposure. I wonderhow commen it is for folks to get cold feet, close to the alter, after the wedding etc. I'm sure someone connected with the marriage industry knows that's why they require a non refundable deposit. Changed your mind?, Want your money back Our Nephew got close to the alter but changed their mind. They went on their honeymoon anyway Non refundable deposit Now 2 yr's later their going to try again in November.

    Hi AD I agree partly. We went thru the standard S/L progression " way back in day" when that was all there was and never heard the term "up jumper". The first time we heard it was when we were jumping with a military jump club 1990 and they used it to differentiate sp? between the folks getting out low (sl progression) and the ones going "all the way". So I'm guessing it started with the 4 letter word ARMY. there's some kind of a connection betwwen skydiving and the military I just can't remember exactly what it was Nappy poo time R.I.P.

    If you have to continue to jump at the DZ that you started jumping at , Talk to the DZO about how you can get hooked up with other jumpers and get some experience. Hang around the fire at night and make some friends. Visit other DZ's in your area to check out the vibes. Last : get a sex change operation if your a guy. R.I.P.
