    The local new in Seattle announced today that a dude got busted for Kid surfing from his computer at ........Microsoft. The cops busted the perv not the people at work but I'm guess unless it was a big boss he's in deep doodoo at work after the cops get finished with him.

    Hi 1775 Every DZ is a indendent operation and set their own rules. As a consumer you have a choice: you can accept a DZ's rules before you do business with them or find another DZ that meets your requirements.

    Our local Fire dept keeps stats on their activities, and which are even posted in the weekly local paper. Since your a home girl Any chance of coming up with the stats from the locals on the number of EMS calls to the local DZ's vs "other" for last year? I think without objective info this thread will just turn into a pissing contest. The local EMS here are starting to charge for repeat false alarms for fire and intrusion detectors. R.I.P. R.I.P.

    Hi SP Lets think about this and follow the money Some tandems are already being done under "questionable weather conditions" Becausee the DZO doesn't want to disapoint the customer Some people think jumping is a seasonal sport by increasing the operating hours during this limited season will allow more customers to be able to experience the thrill of skydiving. $$$$$$$ R.i.P.

    Ditto what he said. I trust the packers at my home DZ and will occasionally indulge and pay for a pack job (especially if I'm trying to make the sunset load or something) but am getting faster and better myself by doing most of my own pack jobs. I'm still slow, but it's improving. Ditto But when your from the PNW and your visiting Flodia and it's 90 degree's and you got pro's like the packing k's No sweat on letting the P.K.s pack for me.     Hi MBD This subject has come up befor. the new wave jumpeers , and the "industry" consider 1 tandem jump a "skydiver". An example was a survey "who's the most famous skydiver". some jumpers considered GW Bush To be the most famous. I'm sure our elders faced similar situations, and our children and their will also face situations where they get left behind by new ways(not better just new). I got 100 jumps I want to be pied. We launched a 2 way and 6 other people closed so I got a SCR
