Thats cool...did Talbert tell you that? And hows the project going? Find an 8th? No, Craig Girard. We worked on it extensively in the tunnel (along with my other body position shorcomings). Project is going well and I believe were at the 90% solution on the 8th. Tim T. Team Paraclete

Lots of good opinions and rationale in here. I'm working on widening my stance over my previous stance to increase stability and not get moved around as much. Tim T. Team Paraclete

It was indeed a blast and an honor to be on that jump. Tim T. Team Paraclete

The former First Sergeant for the Golden Knights lost his Rolex climbing out of their super queen air a number of years ago. When doing AFF and Tandems, I use an Alti III mounted on the back of my left hand and a slim Timex Ironman on my left wrist (ensuring my juimpsuit covers it). It works for me. Tim T. Team Paraclete

donut, 540, donut But I'll be working on it next week at Tunnel Camp! Tim T. Team Paraclete

Jump Shack, Racer, has had Pull Outs since before there was a RI or SunPath and they always recommended R-L. To do other wise is asking for a total.Quote Irrelevant when applied to an older racer as the top flap was last. Might be applicable to the new racer. Tim T.

TO ALL, Please read carefully. I just got off the phone (29 Apr 04, 1 pm EST) with Kim Turner (who had just gotten off the phone with Nicole) and Paul is still alive and fighting for his life. As his friends, let's please be respectful of his family and not spread any rumors. All the love and vibes still need to be heading to him. Tim T. Team Paraclete

The 2 rigs I have now are perfect. One is my personal and the other is my team rig. Javelin Oddessey (pull out) Velocity 103 PD 113R Cypres

Attachment too large. Go to http://www.sunpath.com/downloads/manuals/sp_owners_manual_rev01.pdf It should be in there. Tim T. Team Paraclete

Owner's Manual Attached. I don't have my rig with me so I can't look at it and tell you. It should be in the book. Tim T. Team Paraclete

I spoke with Kim this afternoon. To all who have called Bill...HUGE THANKS. He's spending max amount of time in the hospital and can't use his cell phone. Please be patient, he will call you back and appreciates all the thoughts, vibes, and offers. Tim T. Team Paraclete -

Arguably, this thread seems to be for vibes and the other for information. With some discipline it will remain that way and may be more efficient. Tim T. Team Paraclete -

Military jumper aquiring a civilian license
usskydiver replied to Spatula's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
If he takes his MFF Card and jump log to almost any local DZ, the staff there can help him out. He will need further training as cutaway/reserve ripcord locations are different on civilian gear vs. military gear. He will also need "hand deploy transition training" as the main deployment method is different. He can also expect a fairly thorough "quiz" covering A/C procedures, EP's etc. Tim T. Team Paraclete -
Only a jousting jest! See you this weekend. Look forward to it. PS: You still have a huge melon Filled with a ton of rigging knowledge.

Do you position your altimeter on your rig?
usskydiver replied to deurich2003's topic in Gear and Rigging
On both of my rigs my altimeter is mounted on the left leg strap, above the hardware near the hip junction. Works great when tracking. I also wear a hand mount when doing AFF so I don't have to take my eyes too far away from the student. Tim T. Team Paraclete -
I also use a Pull-Out. It makes it easier when somone asks to borrow my gear to say "I have a pull-out" and they shudder in horror. Tim T. Team Paraclete
-
Yup . . . it matches your ego! John, That was a little on the mean side but that is why the good lord made my shoulders so broad (to bear that burden). I did not have time to qualify my statement by adding "filled with more rigger knowledge than should be allowed" See you soon!! Tim T. Team Paraclete

Send a PM to slotperfect. That dude has a great big melon and has a Factory Diver that fits good. Tim T. Team Paraclete

Jumped it. More than once. Went pretty much straight up and we were at 12,500 in like 5 minutes. Tim T. Team Paraclete

You are right on the money. Also remove rubber bands/tube stows from main deployment bag. Store in a breathable container/kit bag. Also store in a climate controlled location (temp/humidity, etc.). Good luck Tim T. Team Paraclete FAA Master Rigger

The olny time I don't pack for myself is when I am team training. As a master rigger, I am allowed to pack everything. Tim T. Team Paraclete
