Our company clears 5% of the US market trades daily. Employee size is small, but out amount of data is pretty large. We have the most complex (confusing) network topology I have seen. Firewall load balancing is a large pain in the arse, I will spare you the technical junk. But anyway, I have an interest in learning about PIX, but probably wont be doing it here. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

Justin, you run this in an enterprise environment? Our company does not use PIX, but I have often wondered why. What are your impressions with it? we have been using Fireproof appliances with load balancers (piece of shit, let me tell you) -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

After a little research, I have discovered that my rig was inspired by the Bomb Squad boys and that it was on display at the PIA symposium. Pretty cool. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

Guessing by the filename (from the wings site) I will guess Debar. Having been educated on this...I am even more thrilled to have the rig. Very cool cross mojination. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

Hey everybody, Last friday I purchased all new gear, Wings container, PDR, and Hornet canopy. The Wings was in stock had most of the options I wanted. Heather had been awesome in helping me with choosing the rig. She sent me pics, colors swatches, etc. So I added a few more and placed the order through Rigs and Things. Roll around to today. Heather sent an email saying that they confirmed my order, and the rig was mine. One snag: the rig had a few jumps on it, less than 10. Heather asked if that was okay with me. I responded that it was, but if someone famous had jumped it or they wanted to knock a buck or two off, it would not hurt my feelings. Due to speed of delivery and the pristine condition of the rig, a jump or two under their supervision did not bother me. Heater responded with How cool is that?! Of course I told her that was fine with me, and a big thanks. So thanks to Wings for killer customer service, thanks to Rigs and Things for awesome prices, and thanks to all you forum members for recommending Wings. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

Speedracer, future reference, hit Ctrl+R that is the resize...has pretty nifty options. Also under save there is a button for options that lets you set the jpeg compression. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

Lisa, one solution www.fark.com Anything weird that comes up on the news or talked about during rush hour radio usually comes from fark.com. Now you can be accepted the water cooler again. Plus if you watch history/discovery/tlc or read their websites you can start much much cooler conversations. I have learned more watching those channels than most of college combined. Diverdriver: I hate that instinct too. Not saying hate those that do it. But it cheapens human life and it makes traffic HELL. And I agree this is much like that. We don't like it, but we patronize it anyway, dragging others down. There are many parallels there. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

I guess I see your point to a degree. They are real technically. But everything is real technical. The question is if it is your perception of real or society's agreement of real? Just because it is real does not discribe the purpose and attitude with which it was created. Throughout life you try to equalize your view of reality and society's view through experiences, rites of passage. All things like this do, is alter the view that you try to align. We think they are base or whatever. I hear so many people talk about how they think negatively of them. Yet the patronizie them by watching. There is no such thing as bad publicity. We as Americans are drawn to things we don't like but are not smart enough to leave alone. There is no such thing as bad publicity. This for for reality TV and Michael Jackson. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

The thing is that gets me, and feel free to disagree because I did not watch any of it. But do you really think those reactions are real? One of my biggest problems with 'reality' shows as that they are for the most part staged. And even IF we assume that they are real people. They are certainly not average people like you or I. And they usually behave very conciously of the camera. To me it just encourages everyone to show the worst aspects of human nature: overdramatization, jealousy, conceit, etc. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.
