You beat me to this one. I thought drunken cheerleader lesbian sex only happened in porn movies. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9956517/ illegible usually

Yoiu don't actually need to copy it to DV tape. You can just hook up the firewire, and the VHS deck and use the camera as a pass through. Still a bit of a PITA but saves you a tape. illegible usually

That's not consistant w/ human nature though. Lets say Houston Texas has an outbreak. The gov'mt says " No one should travel to Houston. No one should leave Houston" There will be a LOT of people that will stay away for sure, but there will also be a LOT of people in Houston that think they are not infected that will try to GET THE FUCK OUT before the city falls apart and I get sick too. Stats say some of these people will be carriers, not showing symptoms yet. (The flu is contagoius 3-5 days PRIOR to symptoms - this may or may not follow the same pattern) The primary reason SARS did not cause a pandemic was too short a period from infection to symptoms, easier to quarantine the victims. illegible usually

No. When a pandemic hits (it is a matter of when, not if) the world will not be ready. It may not be H5N1, but we are too close together, and too interconnected for a high lethality, contagious disease to not cull a significant portion of the population. The current political turmoil only excerbates the situation as people are distracted. The US MIGHT fare OK in the overall death toll, but once a disease breaks out, there will be little hope for impoverished countries because the wealthy countries will likely ignore them untill their own houses are in order. I expect that a few 100's of millions dead will be quite possible. illegible usually

For jumpers that are off student status, I'll do a 'coaching' jump anytime I have the time available. It's called giving back. Every skydive is a fun skydive, and I think it's great to see people discover new things as they learn to fly. When someone gets down from a jump where they just did _____ for the first time, it's great. Plus, they have to buy beer... illegible usually

And if Bush was actually lying? Then Wilson was telling the truth. How does that scenerio compute. There are many signs that this may have in fact been the case. illegible usually

While a technical point, it's not racism. Racism involves RACE, which is not to be confused with religious affiliation. Race is determined by genetics, religious affiliation is determined by upbringing and personal choice. There is a difference. Religious discrimination is also wrong (in most cases) I would make exceptions for violent cults, which IMO Islamist extremists have become. illegible usually -
I agree! I'll take a Super Otter anyday over a slower CASA -- because of the fast lifts! The tailgate is lovely, but if you were stuck with only having one turbine, take the fast climbing Otter instead. I've been in a Twin Otter that climbed TWICE AS FAST as a CASA that I jumped in. How about this one? I knew I'd seen it b4 just needed a quick search. Edit to add: it's already got jump seats even! illegible usually

Not really. he could plead no contest and be pardoned the next minute. It would stink, so me guess is it won't happen until after midterm elections. Till then, stall tactics will be used very effectively illegible usually

Well, not yet. But I'll bet all takers a beer that he will be prior to GWB leaving office. Thoughts? illegible usually

Thanks, Ever think about getting your own blog, and just linking to that? From whot I've heard out of MSFT people I know, they are looking forward to AAPL moving to INTC chipsets. They are betting that all the current MACheads will end up buying Windows and running as a dual boot system. Thereby giving them nearly total market saturation illegible usually

The same way that we prevent overzealous christians from getting out of control. Through a solid seperation of church and state and by having very good public schools where kids are taught real facts, not religious myths. illegible usually -
