Would You vote for Billvon for President?

Yes, BV would do a great job. illegible usually -
You have to fly into Portland, (most strip clubs per capita in the US I think) From there, I'm sure you can find a local to show you the sights. Skydive Oregon is just outside Portland (about 30 min from the PDX airport) Eugene skydivers is a couple hours south and Skydive Toledo (my home) is an hour north. All are profiled here http://www.dropzone.com/dropzone/North_America/United_States/index.html illegible usually

Yes. It is easier and faster (on my PC) than PS. The software is much smaller and seems to have less bloat. I use PS for editing photos, thumbs for organizing and batch processing. That said, I know lots of people that like to stick with one platform. illegible usually

Starvation is indeed just a short term food shortage. Afterall, once your dead you don't need to eat nearly as much. illegible usually

Which is why enviromentalism and capitalism isn't a good mix. Or else we'd be investing in buying up Canadian land and just WAITING for the warmup. Real estate investing based on global catastrophe. Shhhhh! Don't tell anybody. illegible usually

Hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, pandemic disease outbreaks, meteor impacts and tidal waves are also non-unique events in earth's history. Doesn't mean these are good things... We MIGHT be able to slow the warming, giving the earth and our societies time to adjust. Catastrophic change will not result in the end of the world, just the end of the world as we recognise it. illegible usually

check out http://www.cerious.com/ Thumbs plus. This is what I use for all my photos and I highly recommend it. Not free but it's worth it. It's fast, easy and best of all, it works. illegible usually

I'll accept that there MAY be other influences on the heat balance. Here's a question for you. If there is a fire burining would it make it hotter or colder to throw more fuel on it? If there is more heat input, adding CO2 will just make the capture of that heat that much more efficient, making your coorelation a strong argument for reducing CO2 outputs even more drastically. illegible usually

Well, the important thing here to some people seems to be, not to rebuild New Orleans as quickly as possible while providing employment for the jobless, but rather to make sure that highly skilled workers from out of town make big bucks."If you give a man a fish, he will have food for a day. If you teach a man to fish, he will have food for a lifetime." -Ancient Chinese ProverbWhat we need to do is teach the poor from New Orleans how to fish. Allow them to learn a trade (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, etc.) at the entry-level, rebuilding their own city, and they will have a job and prosperity for a lifetime. If we just keep throwing them fish every day, letting others do the work for them, they'll never do anything except be on the public dole, waiting for more fish to be thrown their way. This is a golden opportunity to turn fish-takers into fishermen. Agreed 100%. You also need to make sure that there are fish worth catching. By this I mean that there need to be jobs available for these people to do, once trained, that will pay well enough that they will keep "fishing" Where do we need more labor? According to BLS we need http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos060.htm Kinda ironic ain't it. illegible usually

No, it's just reaffirming to know that someone took the time to study it. After all, plenty of people used to 'know' that the sun went round the earth. And there are still many that feel the only way to a civil society is to have God in command. illegible usually

That's the point. How many votes do you think Nader or Badnaric would have received in 200 or 2004 if their supporters could have hedged their bets on another candidate, so as to not feel as though they were throwing away their vote? Dunno. Badnarik got my vote anyway. I'd rather waste the vote than spend it on someone I really feel is not worthy of my support. illegible usually

Interesting idea. I think it would work better than the current system. I would suggest the top 10 candidates get on the general ballot, with ranked voting. ANYTHING (well almost anything) would be better than what we now have. I've never been a real fan of ranked voting though. It's kinda like going to the bar and saying I'd like to go home with ___, but I'd like to get your # too just in case it doesn't work out. illegible usually

In principle, I agree. Unfortunately the best candidates always seem to be eliminated at the primary level. How would you suggest getting past this problem? This is not directed specifically at rehmwa, but rather anyone. Open primary where the top three vote getters all get on the general ballot. You might get two R's and a D, two D's and an R, one D one R and one L, or who knows what. The current system wouldn't permit this tho... illegible usually

I interupt this discussion for a photo of my dog. He says you guys should take a deep breath and relax. There are bad people on this rock. I think we can agree that Religion doesn't make people bad. bad people misuse religion to continue to do bad things. The current flavor of "bad" religion is Islam. (the fundie version of it) there are many white wackos out there...(Eric Rudolf, Adolf Hitler, Pat Robertson) there are many black wackos out there...(Mugabe) there are even Korean wackos out there...(KIM Jong Il) race and/or religion do not make a man (or woman) bad. But bad they may be and should be culled to protect the rest of us that only wish to drink our beer and skydive in peace. illegible usually

I'll fully support that statement. HOWEVER, the Dems have never portrayed themselves as being fiscally conservative. (does tax and spend liberal ring a bell?) the R's on the other hand have trumpeted far and wide how they are oh so financially responsible. It's not the spending, it's the hypocrisy illegible usually

My vote is also .5x Less distortion, plenty wide for tandems and 4 way IMO illegible usually
