  7. Just got my copy today. Thanks. Just finished watching it too, so 6 more hours till I have to get up :) I have to comment on the fact that there were ALOT of faceplants and nasty non-PLF like rolls ( can't even call 'em that, more like plummets.. Ouch ... P.S. I stood all 3 of 'em up. Got video to prove it :)

  11. just a little fact for ya'll.. about 75% of all motorcycle related accidents involve another vehicle being at fault. Usually NOT GIVING the right of way. No, hauling an 84 year old to jail is wrong. But NOT being careful while hauling a gooseneck and causing somebody death, and who knows what to the other person, what is that considered ??? Another, just hypothetical question : Do you think that when you are in your eighties you will be capable ( i.e. attentive/cautious etc ) enough to operate something as large as a truck with a 5th wheel ? I personally don't think I will be able to handle that at that age... just good for thought.
  12. bump... not being impatient or anything ( well, maybe a little bit ), but would like to know the status. I ordered on the 17th of feb... tnx

    god damn ebay

that is note tru. I have lost only one thing on ebay, and I have won everything i wanted to. The catch is using 2 monitors with a few windows open, and constantly refresh one. You can do at least 4 differrent bids in the last 15 seconds.
  14. Back when men were men, and I was dialing up BBS's on a superfast 2400 baud modem, I used the handle of "Video Crasher" ... I have no idea why or how I came up with that. Naturally it got shortened to VID, and 666 is just a number that is easy to remember :)
  15. God damn... I hope it turns around and slaps the bitch back. REALLY HARD.
  16. some more nice shots of nature: Jackson Hole, WY early monrning on the lifts, view from midway up another one uptop, myself included, the view below is great
  17. If you are willing to pay for Perclick advertising, you can use google adwords. - adwords.google.com though since you are not selling anything online, it probably wouldn't be as desirable...
  18. I have no idea if someone posted this before, but some interesting reading.... Click
  19. 83 skydives in 3 years of skydiving. 3 jumps at BD '03 ... I did bungee and balloon jumps and was able to fall solid flat and stable - BD felt good as well. I was jumping a Sabre 210 all this time, so a big BASE canopy was not uncomfortable to handle ( Dagger 244 ). I do though have to agree that BD is super forgiving, just the that fact took a lot of tension away during the first jump.
  20. sound like a very interesting piece - PM me if you want me to host it :)
  21. 1990 BMW K1 2000 BMW K1200LT-C yeah, most of your guyses vehicles have too many wheels... P.S. Picture taken in 1998, but i still have that bike
  22. I would definately stay away. Indonesia is infamous with credit card fraud. I sell on ebay under "12zpc" and we get a lot of requests for running credit cards and making transactions outside ebay. It's never a problem, but here's what we require : CC - only from US customers, and shipping ONLY to the billing address or to the "alternate shipto" address - we call in and verify if the auto system doesn't. No international credit cards. period. with paypal you are covered with their insurance only if the buyer is in US, is verified ( bank account on file ) and confirmed address ( credit card on file ). You also have to ship via a trackable method and provide a tracking # if asked. So the indonesian buyer is most likely a scam, especially considering that Paypal is not offered in that country :) paul
  23. I've only done 3 BASE jumps - all at BD 2003. I wore a helmet jump 1 and jump 3. And I would of worn it on the 2nd jump too if I would of not forgotten it on the packing tarp :). I would say make it a choice, not a requirement. As far as skydiving gear though - I think more than just a 9' bridle should be required ( s/a no d-bags )
  24. if the police report was filed in the same city ( i think it doesn't go outside the locale ), the pawn shop owners will be charged with receiving stolen property...
