while we are on a subject of helmet cams for skiing/snowboading... I am taking sidemount trv22 to Wyoming in 2 weeks, and have been really thinking hard about how long i can realistically last with the bulk on my head. Anybody with any experience ? I did a fair amount of taping with an old CCD-TRV57 ( old hi8 , bulky ) handheld - the videos were fine, but lugging that brick around wasn't any fun at all. any opinions/ideas ?

Definately strap in bindings. I use Drake Matrix and I love them, but there are many others that are geat too. Reason I picked the Drakes is cuz they were the 2nd best model for 2 years and that I was able to snipe them for $110 on ebay :) Just got Burton HAIL boots - my old 1996 Burtons just didn't do it for me, and my step in K2 Firebirds were just waaaaaaaaaaay too stiff... Haven't had a chance to try them yet, as in Ohio it's still marginally cold but NOT SNOW ! Will be in Jackson Hole, WY Christmas week, so I am sure I will do eerything to test them. Only other suggestion - take a look at FLOWs - many people swear by them. just my 2 shillings worth.

I gave up my home phone about 7 months ago - but just signed up for vonage ( getting the adapter tomorrow actually ). I am sure there's downfalls to it, as internet is never optimized.. But heck, that's what the trial time is for :)

just be an adult and let it go. You boss is not your girlfriend and is not supposed to be faithful "till death do you part". You know the saying "business is business" ??? I am sure the boss wasn't thinking "how do I screw him" - just filling a position that needed to be filled in order for the enterprise to function properly. I say this having no idea what you do, but figuring that you work in a moderate to big size environment. don't take this as a flame, it's just lately I have been noticing more and more people thinking that work is never fair - well, take a look at the unions - many of them are doing nothing but extorting money out of corporations and forcing them into bankrupcies. I can go on forever :(, this is a very personal topic for me. paul

Jackson Hole, Wyoming has always treated me well. I believe that it's not as high (MSL) as Breck is, so breathing is a bit easier :) Also supposedly one of the best powders in US. In fact we are scheduled to be ther Christmas week... either way - big mountain=big fun

From the video on Sat night, looked like line twists + tension knot. He missed the big boulder by a foot or so ... He was sitting in the room during the video, and said he is fine ...

Yeah, BD2003 was awesome. I made 3 jumps, ( first being my first ) - I even jumped my own packjobs :) thanks for putting on a kickass event, I will definately do my best to be back next year. Paul.

Made my first tandem sept 2000... So 3 years and a few days.. Too bad that it's never enough.( haven't jumped in 3 weeks )

yes, you should be able to get a sound card ( i believe 3.5 mil or 2.5mil ) to RCA converter. The sound won't be awesome, but it should work... Also depending on the kind of converter you get, it might end up being mono :(

I went through the same a few months ago. Vertigo had rentals - you might want to contact them Vertigo otherwise - pray to the skygods ( too bad that hasn't helped me any ) edited to make sence of all the markups .. - i am learning.

20,000 cfs - there's highest in a long long time. IT was awesome. We didn't even get to flip the raft over :(

I'm going. Just went whitewater rafting 2 weeks ago, on the lower new right under the bridge. Man, that landing area is SMALL.. :)
