is it just my observation or is it mostly vector pilots - contrary to strong ti's - being panicky about hands being grabbed? The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle dudeist skydiver # 666

reading the forums i stumbled over this: i find it ridiculous to slam a poster for spelling what sucks even more is the fact that - not only this specific guy in this specific post - a judgement on the quality of a question/post is based on a complete profile as a more or less "generaly accepted attitude". once i thought it was fun filling out my profile and keeping it up to date - but his made me wipe out all the relevant skydiving-data in mine maybe this belongs in another forum, but as it describes a habit mainly found in the skydiving part of dz.com this seems - at least imho to be place to be discussed The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle dudeist skydiver # 666

ok . i hope this is the right place for my question i got a fullface helmet without the soft inside padding/lining. the guy that made these helmets is out of business - so there is no way in getting the original lining. i have all the material needed at home - but how do i proceed to make a new lining without to much fumbling? any suggestions? Jumpers not learing about gear?
feuergnom replied to cvfd1399's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
just two weeks ago we spent an evening on gear maintenance with our rigger. not only did he show us what kind of inspections we can make (besides releasing 3rings and checking lines). what really took every one of our feet was what kind of "mistakes" he showed us, that came into the rigging loft and what could have easily killed the jumpers who made them and although every one of us packs his own rig, and we do take great care about what we do we learned a lot this evening The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle dudeist skydiver # 666 -

I never wank, It never even crosses my mind, but when someone wank at me,i feel slightly violated or something. It weakens me. Do you wank ? Do you get a weird feeling when someone wank at you ? Do you think it is polite to wank ? just fixed the typo for you The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle dudeist skydiver # 666

FCC is out of control -- NSFW (if your company is just as stupid)

So why aren't you walking around naked Kallend? Or at least partially naked? I do in places where I'll not get arrested for it. Civil disobedience is optional too. so maybe we should all meet stark raving nude on one of these very obscene nude beaches in europe - that would be neutral ground. so we could find out if we are offended by older guys sloppy asses and dangling dicks or older womens sagging tits (or even the well trained youngsters sexual organs in full bloom) The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle dudeist skydiver # 666 -
My apologies for not checking his references. I just thought it was an interesting viewpoint to discuss. i guess there is no way to check the credibilty/quality/bias of some newspaer/magazie published in another country – apologies taken If he made a statement with any basis in reality concerning the state of affairs here or abroad, chances are, he would be representing a portion of the country's opinions. You can't say anyone represents the opinion of an entire nation, not really. That's why Christel's dismissal of the article as bs and non-German confused me. Is the whole nation really that unified in its viewpoint right now? (I'm asking seriously - last time I was there was '97) i have no idea if "the whole nation is unified in this viewpoint This is exactly the sort of response I was looking for - thanks! Do you think security and vigilance has increased across the board since the murders? Do you think that neutrality on the part of non-involved EU countries has made you safer, or more vulnerable (perhaps viewed as weak by extremists?) so you were shopping for an answer? so lets see: this thread started with a dimwit article of a german whack-job journo to be read as "the european stand on blablahblah" just after christel turned up and stated this article by said writer was complete bs and that he is in no way entitled to speak for europe as a whole this turned into the usual s.c.-kind of arguement including the (in)famous top-posters truly adding gems to this masterpiece («---- if anybody feels insulted/personally attacked by this - **** you) @pajarito: as i am definitely shure you read the whole thread - there's more sides to this story and the statement simply isn't true btw & if i haven't already mentioned this before: I AM SORRY AND MANY THANKS FOR HELPING US DIMWIT EURO'S OUT MORE THAN 60 YEARS AGO man this all get's so tiring edit to add: why is it so hard to understand that most of european folks are soooo tired of fighting in war's? i know it's a fucked up world out there, and most of the "solutions" – no matter if made up by europe, the states, the U.N or whoever - don't seem to work on the big scheme. if everything were that bloody simple as we think it was, well i guess the world would be a better place.... ok - just to chime in the author of the article is a complete whacko! the publisher of the newspaper is a rightwing fuckhead. one of the major products of his company is "bildzeitung" - for those of you who have no idea - it's the equivalent to the british sun or the likes (sorry don't know any american examples). how much credibility would any of put on the commentaries of some journo from the yellow press? or an other example: would you argue over the statement that lets say howard stern represents the opinion of all u.s, citizens? – my guess is: if i posted this i'd get beat up verbally in seconds yes - "we", the europeans - have problems with radical muslims (so does the rest of the world rather apparently) . politics in most (european) countries has been week on these nutcases, letting them do their stuff mostly unwatched. after the murders in the netherlands there's a new process of thoight on this. as far as i understand the issue, there will be no more tolerance on any kind of extremism. my 2 (euro)cents: everybody is welcome to live in my country as long as they contribute to the community. i am strongly opposed to anybody seeking shelter and then working against the community/country/nation that gave it. AFAIK that is the line of thought starting to spread on a broad scale over here. one more thing: this whole europe vs u.s. start to SUCK MAJOR! hey i don't know crap about the u.s. haven't been there, didn't live there. so no comments from my side to most of your politics - as long as it has no direct effect on my live. and even then - i would rather hear some very good arguements for your actions, then just the old BW-pictures The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle dudeist skydiver # 666

well - you just can't escape. when i was a kid i used to wonder how other people, that were not into this kind of thing (being christian and all the stuff) were to spend this day. the older i got the moe i thought - gee wouldn't this be bliss in here you have posts asking how much you spend on presents or what you will buy your loved ones i think christmas is a seasonal virus like flue or the sniffles, you have to sit it out The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle dudeist skydiver # 666

to be honest - i will be very happy when it's finally over. seems like this whole mess is based on one thing: shopping ad nauseatum. stores starting to sell christmas-stuff in october and start to play christmas tunes as early as the beginning of november. everybody running around like crazy shopping for gifts nobody needs. damn advertisements filling my postbox to the brim.... and if you have no intention in participating in this madness you are a spoil-sport /rant off/ The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle dudeist skydiver # 666
